Defining camping in VCTF

no not really.. duel is mainly about map control as u know.. and getting a redeemer for example is just a no skill, cheap way of killing an enemy who did better and got more map control... also the damage super pickups provide a much bigger advantage than the shield belt... pretty much every weapon does more damage than the armors offer... all it takes to kill someone with a shield belt is one extra rocket.. or one extra flak ball shot.. and the super powerup is gone... killing someone when using a u-damage/beserk is way to easy.. then its really really easy to spawn kill using the udamage for a quick easy 2 or 3 kills or even more depending on the map... basically the damage super powerups are way more powerful than what the shield belt can offer

this thread is stupid, if you camp in UT3 then your playing the wrong game, go and play cod.

This is why duel is such a great mode, you have to move around the map to gain map control and make sure you have more HP which gives you an advantage.

In CTF,VCTF and even Warefare it is so easy to get in a darkwalker or a Goliath and just spam the flag with high powered rockets and so on which to me is not how UT3 is ment to be played.

Every shooter needs some defence but gamers are so easy to criticize other players for stuff they do.

if you have a problem with camping in UT3 then chances are your an idiot becuase you have done it yourself. get over it.

tank, fury, nemesis, nightshade.  whatever kills the enemy kills the enemy.  end of story

With the exception of a handful, a vehicle player outside of their vehicle is useless.

Chris is great in the fury, BUT he's not a fury ho... he play'd on foot and other vehicles as much as the fury... Cbizzy isn't a fury ho either because he's on foot most of the time, so those are terrible examples Seph lol

When were you a tank ho DoD? Must have been before i got on ps3, because you were in walker or sniping when i play'd lol

I'm talking about people that wait at the tank respawn instead of playing on foot until it respawns... people that eat lunch in the tank... people that 99% of their kills are in the tank... people that can't even give a vage description the other base lol Thats a tank ho :)

Ima try to get Seif and TX to play a few games of vctf Tommorow around 7 or 8 eastern time if anyone is on... havn't put my ut3 disc in in months so i don't know if its totally dead or not?

Mexico's lag is not as bad as California. I assure you this.

we all have to deal with ping, us or eu there is allways lag, if someone beat or get beated sure blame lag. but what's up with theyr¨ terrible how so sup-mate is my younger sister. new in game and lot's of talent- smart and dedicated and now here is some mexican douche and qm cheerleader to back him up.. christ sake give respect to those who deserve it. lag or not dying in vctf is part of the game.   

That's cuz they are terrible players, tripod has the right to say that, he's from Mexico and plays on eu servers like he lives next door to the server, he deals with ping amazingly. f***ing clown.

The first VCTF match I played in awhile was actually not so campy.  I had no other modes to join, so I joined that match.  My team somehow managed to get the flag mid-field and I think save it once, allowing me to airlift that guy out and score, forcing overtime.  We ended up winnning after ten or so minutes.  I think that was the best teamwork move I've done in ages, in any game.
