Some are saying it's affecting a few of the newer 500 GB systems too. Update: Sony remove firmware 4.45 due to brick thousands of PS3. Firmware 4.41 is back now so its safe to get online. ------------- |

I dont see how they could fix that through rollback update. If you cant update your software since your PS3 is basically fvcked and there is no secondary option to boot and update from Flash f.e. , then the next action would be most likelt to either send your PS3 up for repairs or burn your PS3 to ash Bummer for Sony.. Once the console is brick, basically its time to buy a new PS3. If they have a warranty, they can send it to Sony to get a refurbish PS3. ------------- |

I figure people who got there PS3 wrecked with this update should certainly be raging and not be getting a PS4. But your getting both PS4 and Xbox One? You can yes, if you actually reach the safe mode. I've read that most people who suffered from this updated couldnt start their PS3's anymore. Well, they could, but they would see all kinds of weird green bars on screen after starting. Oh btw. This update has been rereleased, because my brother just installed it. Went fine without problems.
