Wanted to tell you guys sorry, but basically my PS3 had the YLOD. At the time I was using someone else's computer to play Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2. It happened like a month ago, right around early June. So I was pretty indifferent at the moment. Then I realized that we had a Warfare tournament to play it and was urgent to fix my PS3. So I did alot of reading as well as watching some youtube videos. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_Ic1_TY-GU This was the main one I watched and observed closely. A week ago I order a $33 Black and Decker Heat gun as well as some $6 Thermal compound. So about 7:30pm CST tonight I decided to give it a shot. Here it is almost 12am CST and I am here to tell you I am trampled the YLOD and proven victorious. It was some serious **** to meticulously remove each and every part and screw as well as remove cable ribbons trying to remember where every little piece went. Hell people was lighting fire crackers like mad outside while I was heating/reflowing the CPU/GPU on my patio with the heat gun. I saved about $200 by avoiding buying a new PS3 Slim. My PS3 is back and kicking so just message me if you guys ever want to join yall. P.S. Phantaci (I was praying HARD BRAH) -------------
