Behold: Seph, the endless stream of everlasting compassion and love  LOL

But yeah, I  kind of  get what you mean.  This is always the deal
with celbrities and sometimes it goes way too thick.
In the end it's the very same thing with all of us: breath out
without  breathing in anymore, soil ourselves and get boxed.

Doesn't really make sense to mourn people you don't know   o:

and I guess some people would say they knew Whitney Houston more than they did a soldier

Watched the Grammys last night solely to watch Jennifer Hudson's tribute, an acappella version of the I Will Always Love You song.

Yeah she brought it on herself but still sad...mostly feel sorry for her poor daughter.

Do you realize that in about forty years, we'll have millions of old ladies running around with tatoos and pierced navels? O.o

I couldn't agree more. This crackhead did it to herself. Just goes to show you that actions have consequences.

Blame the stupid media regarding the mourning of soldiers. We used to have American pride and spirit. Now it's all about stupid **** like this.

Value is realizing who's life was more important, and when addicted celebrities get more attention then someone who serves his country then we have no values as a country. She can fix her problem, they die so she has a chance to fix her problem. So tell me, who has no values again?

wishing life was that simple....maybe the problem is with how the media reports on another fallen soldier and another dead celeb and not the individuals themselves! Which one will attract more attention? Whitney didn't exactly demand that they cover her untimely demise. Anyway both are tragedies! But some people exhalted in the talent that she had - dancing, grooving, karioke, concerts - and so its easy to identify with Whitney (like Pengiun says). She was imo a great and died an addict but you should still say - RIP Whitney Houston - everyone deserves at least that1

Well as for the fallen soldiers there's not much people can say about them except thank them for their sacrifice they made for their country. Whitney houston has been singing for years and became famous just my opinion though. I do agree with you though that what they do is more important but that's the media for ya.
