well i guess its not on warranty anymore..i can replace it any time i want but seeing as im a cheap ass iv been sperimenting to fix it. if im able to keep this system still gonna need new accs cuz i jus popped out the hard disk drive thingy and completely wiped it. updating to 3.72 or whayever the f*** it is now via flashdrive wel see what happens ------------- shine on you crazy diamond |

well i agreed to the terms of use and the update went thru, and then my screen went black..lol...my nerdy friend said i need the original cord that came with the system before i can find out if its fixed he said my hdmi cable isnt registered.. progress haha ------------- shine on you crazy diamond |

u can use your HDMI cable, just youtube a video for the steps to activate the hdmi cable while on the black screen, i did it to go back from HDMI to componet... if you want me to get the video let me know... it'll be called something like PS3 composite to HDMI or something like that ------------- aka - priebe69, DEEP_BrokeBack, GOW_AftaBirth |

nah im gonna borrow my friends cords tomorrow and "finish the process"...but son of a f***ing b**** i had no idea there was a secret menu you can access to fix hard disk corruption, mental note taken..atleast i learned a few new things today, the secret menu and that toshiba makes the hard disks for ps3s haha.if my system still doesnt work il pick up a new one wednesday hun think you can go that long without me? ------------- shine on you crazy diamond |

God damn trainwreck all you do is hold down the power button on the front of the ps3 and it will beep a couple of times and your hdmi cable will work. YOU CAN BE HAMMERED AND FALL ON YOUR PS3 AND FIX THIS PROBLEM HAHAHAHAHAHAHA -------------  |
