This is a milestone in the development of "Unreal Theatre"--a youtube channel dedicated to the Unreal series. This is the first montage published on the channel and it was done by Salvinorin.

i keep forgetting to watch it,i love watching footage in general :o

dont have that high quality due to ways of recording on ps3

What do you use to record? The HD PVR can do 720p and 1080i (but the PS3 version of UT3 can go up to 720p).

Also, how often do you record your gameplay footage? If I'm going to do a 'top 5 plays of the week' segment then it would be weird to use footage from months ago or kills from a random montage.

Also, do you know anyone else that records? Would be weird if I used 5 clips from one guy.

i record pretty much every match i play
i use a HAVA Platinum HD which lets me play HD while recording lower quality
theres not a lot of players who record n idk really who do, theres some vehicle mode focused players (i saw fluffy post a vid for instance i think, and i think gunjacrew now is (he does record hd)) and some others.. like phantaci
well he used to anyway.. until he won his fancy new setup in the duel tourney
you wont be able to fill a weekly top with just ps3 frags :P

Unreal Theatre isn't PS3-centric. We'll be using clips from PC players too.

i like the artistic approach. it's not all about frags. some people honestly forget about everything else. you know, the desperate search for that person about to attack your exposed core, or the how someone would sneak behind enemy lines unseen. i like it.

Can someone tell me in plain English what's going on with this VCTF tournament you guys are having? I've tried asking around but no one could give me a straight answer. When is it going to start? I'd like to record the event and put it up on youtube. Hopefully the server it's taking place on has the spectator mod installed.
