I remember the days of instagib with super beserk when i first started playing UT3 as some of my happiest times on the game. lets get all the old crew together (and whoever else wants to join in) on friday night, get drunk and have a laugh. the only criteria is that you come to have fun and not take it too seriously.
val / thrill/ conner / sepi / virus / tee/ tank girl / jake / qwerty / cloudy - all the people i knew from the beginning, i'd love it if you could all make it... idk what will happen about servers etc but im sure we can figure something out..

Good grief. I'm glad they Clanwars fixed their instagib servers. Super Bersker is cool, but it doesn't mix well with instagib, at least in my opinion and I thought 8vs8 Flak and Rocket Wars on Reflection were bad. I might join in sometime though or whenever this happens. ------------- |

Well, as you've asked me sooooo nicely, then yes, my partner in crime and I can make the UK based qwertyu42.uk server available for this one... and because its Instagib, a favourite of mine (and of course the Queen of Insta, Lady valjohn !!).
Just a reminder this server only has 12 slots, which I hope will be enough.
Bev (or anyone else) do you want to confirm the maps, start time and all that we want on the night?
It would indeed be great if R13 and CarloThunder, Zedstar, dogtanion and the like could also join in.

I think 12 would be enough. Generally, 12+ players in DM sucks, especially on maps like Rising Sun or Sentinel, which start to get annoying after the player count gets above 10 or so.

hey qwerty, how about we get the server set up for 8pm UK? then theres a good few hours for everyone to play, and if there are too many people we can alternate. i definatly think a password is needed though as i can easily think of 12 people i want to invite . if you PM me the password we can send it round PSN the day before or something :)
as for the maps, all the old favourites sounds good to me. i despise diemos but its vals fave if i remember rightly so just put all the normal stock maps on and we can argue it out amongst ourselves! ;)
oh and i think cloudy has sickness and diahorreah on friday... not only is it an excuse to go and play, its an excuse to get a really spicy curry the night before! double win! ------------- |

I wish it were that I could take a sick day on Friday but sadly I'm in charge of the "gaff" of Friday night so my ass will get well and truly kicked if I even try to pull a sicky. Plus the BF won't be too impressed that I'd be taking a sick day to play a game :( Maybe if this down well we could do a monthly reunion of insta players and I might make the next one. Well just do your best... I like to see the kill to death ratios :) We've all gotten a lot better since back then anyway so I'd imagine we'll all die more than we used to.
