Just got the approval to run another CTF Tournament. Being that the tournaments before hand were successful.. I figure we should have a trilogy to end it up (for me atleast). Draft will be a little different this time. Would you play?

I honestly don't feel like playing. This will just feel like a bunch of pugs in a row lol. Game is extremely boring to me now, and chances are I'll show up and the other team won't show 80% of the time. or It'll take 2 weeks to set up one match, where I get on at the discussed time then i have to wait an hour for the other team to get on. Tournies in this community are trash, LEZ BE HONEST

Not to agree with negative nancy here ^^ but he's right, this might work as a small 3v3 or something, but it wont even come close to the competitiveness of the last tourny, (whatever competitiveness it had)

although I am 100% for this warfare tourny, but adding a ctf tourny, this summer, would be pushing it

yea most tourneys do have problems, and most don't get finished... the last ctf tourney was decent though, so i'll play in this one if there's enough teams

yeah i guess i would play, but last tourney cost me $100 bucks and no one got paid? not sure i want to pay in on this one tho.

and at what penguin said,,,, %100 percent true. it will get drawn out months on end, FEHTALATEE with get pissed off at me again and we will have a big fight on the forums, i think the last tourney killed my desire soo bad that i quit and only played a few times since the last one ended.

i never thought making your own teams was fair, we all know that QM would win and those clowns like to stick together lol.. i thought the way we did it last time shoulda coulda worked if a roster is set and a round robbin (type) picking system is in play,, the ppl will always pick top choices first and that usually balances out teams. i dont see any point of a tourney that isnt well balanced matches and has teams that just dominate... makes for a boring/pointless tourney

I think this tourney should be completely random picked. Pick 4 random names and those names are one team. They discuss captain within themselves.

im sure you did lol, but i know you cant denie that a stacked team or 2 in a tourney doenst really make for good compitition, when the rosters are done and everyone looks at the teams and says "yeah there going to win" gotta admit,, thats lame.

cause we have a bunch of non competitive as.s wieners who get scared when they see skillful players on the same team. They give up easily and have no confidence. I don't give up until the game freezes and I cant move anymore.

so are you really trying to tell me that un matched skill level players on one team can beat QM everytime if they just follow your advice about them "strategizing and try hard enough"? that may happen 1 outta 100 matches, no different than when i duel u.. im out match by skill, but i still try to win...if i could beat you more often than not it would not be because i am LESS skilled than you..

still dont know why you are saying that far fetch match ups are competetive or even disagree with simple facts, but w/e i guess

i would love to commentate another ctf tournament.. watching that devil match with associate getting a mega kill with the flag was amazing.. and seeing veda kid's flag run mega kill on omicrawn made me cry. you sort of did random teams for the WF tournament.. why not do seedings for absolute random teams.. this ctf tournament is not about clan dominance like we used to say with the last matches... there aren't as many active clans.. mix and match and see how well others would work together!! haha..

* I can see villn, rican, pen, phant in the finals this time and i could see them versing feh, seifer, king, and streetz (i know some are inactive).. that would be a match to see..

Maybe rate the players and thus while creating random teams, make sure they are fairly equal. As good as possible anyway. Idk

Randomizing teams makes better competition and more stand out individual play. There will be all new captains for this one. We are still discussing the best possible draft system to make each team as fair as possible.

Rico designed a Draft system in which captains get a certain amount of money to choose players from the pool. Players depending on their rating or skill are worth a certain amount of money. I dont know exactly how it works but I'll get up with him to discuss. I remember him doing it in the TDM Tourney and teams turned out to be very even.
