I should probably have my own section on these forums, something likes "Fr0g's Corner of Ineptitude." I just got a Logitech Vantage USB headset for PS3 and it has no instructions. I figured it was just plug and use, but I'm not getting sound through it, nor can I be heard. Is there a settings menu in UT3 that I can access to switch voices to be broadcast over my headset? Any ideas about enabling the talk function (yes I know to hold the right D-pad until the mic comes up). Is there a way to talk without holding down right on the D-pad?

You can bind the talk button to something more convenient (I use L2) and you have to set it up in the menu somewhere, Settings > Accesoires settings

| the only time u can talk without pressin a button is if the video game supports free talk.. on the xbox, halo is an open mic so u just talk and u will b heard.. a cross platform game like cod will also have free mic support.. the only bad thing is if someone plays music and u dont have the time to mute him or her, u will b stuck listenin to loud raspy sounds instead of ur team communicating. haha |

Once, while playing the zombie mod for counter-strike, a guy started blasted wildly inappropriate music. This continued for the remainder of my time on the server, and the juxtaposition between the setting and the soundtrack was effin hilarious. ------------- Got Pwned?

The push to talk issue was circumvented by Microsoft's party system. Hardly ever is in-game chat used at this point on the 360. I hope Sony debuts a similar option, b/c half the fun of pubs was getting all the players in a party, regardless of team, and joking around/talking ****.

ROFLMAO VGP just sent me a "FRIENDS REQUEST" no joke...I was removed 4 days ago... lol However he hasn't been able to join games that I host lately.
He said he was trying an experiment?... I just happened to get my first HATTRICK on him ever and then rub it in a little... lol in the game before he quit out and removed me? Now theres "NO ONE" I havn't got a HATTRICK on!!! im one of the few players who actually plays ALL modes though i do tend to favor foot modes more im usually in dueling but i do play ctf when players are in the room im pretty damn good at any mode i step in so you should watch out ;) -------------

UT3 used to be open mic till the Titan pack came out...now its not THANKFULLY or we'd have to listen to characters like sk8rslim and his $hitty music the entire time
