Idea: weekly gathering locked room pa**worded any one of us could join starting with deathmatch then the following week move to the next mode.
Goal: play different modes and mainly just to have fun rules: no trash talking, no egos, nothing but good fun depending on how its hosted the person who trash talks will get booted its meant to be played for fun nothing but good games how about it guys and gals? again anyone could join even if you dont play the damn mode you could join its all for fun anyways win or lose if teams are unbalanced politely ask we are all adults im sure we can work out an even team (when going into team based modes) (no this is not for tonight unless there is enough people on tonight) this can be done anytime... edit: this would be a good chance for 360 cross overs to get to know the community and to play with us -------------

its up to "community" on when its best for them if everyone agrees like i posted it wont be just DM the following week after the DM would be TDM then CTF then vctf then warfare etc etc. -------------

Friday nights? I remember back in the day we used to play custom maps on Killing Spree's server... normally 5v5 and after every game the top player from the winning team swapped with the bottom player from the losing team. We used to have people like rivers, ks and myself playin! Can't remember all the other guys names but remember getting juggernauted by rivers several times on Aggresive Alleys. ------------- |

We could do that with maps already confirmed to work on dedicated servers (only for vctf there's just 1 map right now)

well if most participation is going to be in vctf then this is going nowhere this is meant for everyone to quit the hermit **** and leave outside their modes to play with every and get to know everyone -------------

try it, I'm down for any mode but like I said it doesn't look like the foot mode players will get involved. I mean the duel tourney probably wouldn't have gone thru if it wasn't for wopr baby sitting 90% of the players involved and that was for cash. Warfare all stars game had loads of players just itching to get involved and that had no money involved. Just two cases but u do the maths... ------------- |

thats true but that goes both ways look at this...this website most players here are vehicle players...and look how many of these 500+ players are jumpin to this idea to play together pathetic only us few are the ones willing to do this. i do agree the foot mode players who wont pay vehicles cause its not their cup of tea well they are f***in idiots and shouldnt play this game if its a friendly chance like this to play with everyone else... same goes for vehicle players if you guys dont play the foot modes bunch of idiots also -------------

crazy suggestion but should a master list of names be collected then that way we could slap a pw on the server. this community is pretty much like 6 degrees of separation anyway. we are all connected. we can then invite people who want to be there instead of random idle sitters as well. just an idea don't butcher it apart. lol ------------- Anything that bleeds for 7 days and doesn't die is the only thing you should fear |

no its a great idea and a start but at the same time i still dont think people will join other modes i know for a fact incremental wont ever step into a vehicle mode maybe wopr but im sure wopr is always willin to play new things we should just make a list of who is WILLING to play ALL modes and i cant emphasize that enough if foot mode players only participate in foot modes and vice versa i dont think they should be allowed to participate in the next iamgaming event unless they have a legit reason like family or life issues thats fine but if we see anyone only participating in their safe modes we should be aware of that this is to bring ppl together and to play outside ur modes
edit: it would be awesome if we were all drunk like some of us used to do playin in fear phantoms old rooms man those were hella good times and i know bain remembers those...or does he... haha -------------

ok....how about this we make a list and run 2 separate servers so that all or most footmode players are grouped together playing vehicle modes and vise versa. i THINK that is the big problem is that you don't wanna step in with too many advanced players knowing that you are not quite up to par with them. i have no problem stepping into ctf but when i'm in there with veteran players you do sometimes feel a little lost. now if most were at my skill level with it it might be a little different. start a master list of names in another thread breaking them up between vehicle and footmode and see where we go from there ------------- Anything that bleeds for 7 days and doesn't die is the only thing you should fear |

yeah thats the thing two fase thing is to mix the players NOT keep them together as they are now foot mode players need to learn to play with vehicle players and vehicle with foot same thing even if ur not on par with the players who normally play that mode the thing is to keep the teams as even as possible and to help each other out its all about having fun remember that we all play the same game we all should play together -------------

well our differences aside, crow u hav a nice idea, i back u up 100% on this. the customs ill have to get into though. they do tend to freeze my ps3 alot of the time but still a great idea this may even cool everyones constant fighting about foot modes and vehicle modes n how 1 mode is better then the other. i for 1 am waiting 4 ctf week the most myself. i need ctf practice pretty bad. again good idea rev. n i hope this all goes through well :)

the sooner we start the better really and yeah DM this week i suggest only doing 1 mode per week because we dont know how long players are able to stay on due to out of game activities if we were certain players are able to stay on i would say two modes a week would be kool -------------

well i think it should only b limited to one mode a week only because if u hav 2 a week it would give the ppl to choose their prefered mode..am i making sence? wat i mean is say i get on n there r 2 modes that week, vctf and tdm. i equally play both because i play all the mode but say i am better at vctf. my preferance would b vctf so i would most likely pick vctf to go into. where if it were only 1 mode i wouldnt have a choice to play w/e mode is up that week. ne 1 c where im coming from?

not nessesarily drokun, if crow is in a dm with a bunch of other skilled players. he would b killed a hell of alot more then in duel b/c he cant just consitrate on 1 person. theres constant havok going on n ne 1 is like to be distracted by 1 person while they get killed b another, i mean correct me if im wrong but wat i said seems pretty lodgical. n either way say crow would dominate remember u can only get better if u play better players n get killed by them over n over. correct? if ppl give up after getting killed so many times thats there ego problems. this idea is only made 4 the willing :)

yeah i know alot of dont like playin dm cause of spam but 8 player room should eliminate that plus filled with decent players also..it was kind of like that DM that was streamed a long time ago now that was fun had bunch of qM members had ek trendy... i dont remember who else..all i remember was me almost winnin then i got f***ed with a ****ty spawn 5 times in a row paw catchin up and winning by like 3 points... -------------

punisher and drokun are both right i started out in DM so i know how to dominate in dm no matter whos in the room duel was the second to last mode i got into duelers do have the accuracy and agility to win the match most of the time but the only fault on that is its a DM its pretty much who kills who the fastest so armors and viles will be gone most of the time that plus who kills who in the back would be kool if we did 10-15 mins no kill limits unless you people think thats too much -------------

thats why i suggest we post the links on the front page or make a rar file of all the maps that are going to be played so all the person would have to do is download 1 file and then put them on the ps3 instead of downloading multiple files -------------

aww i forgot about this too, what time did it happen? i expect i was tucked up in bed, but i generally stay on till quite late at the weekends so ill try and make next weeks ------------- |
