i still perfer my 60GB. its backwards compatible and has 4 usb slots vs just 2 ------------- Anything that bleeds for 7 days and doesn't die is the only thing you should fear |

ya, thats rigth two face, the design of this new ps3 looks awsome, so slim, very nice.

damn this makes me happy i got rid of my launch system ps3 and all my games.. i had like 10 games and i only got 650 for it all together but most of those games werent good.. i can buy a new slim system and a few games for less then what i sold my old setup for. woot :) two_fase: yea i hear ya as far as backwards compat. and the 4 usbs.. i used kbm so those usbs were nice to have. as far as backwards compat. i believe sony will have software emulation released soon that will make all ps3s capable of backwards compatibility... even though i sold all my old ps2 games with my last system and i doubt ill buy any new ps2 games, plus most of the good ones will make it on the psn store at some point |

one other little tidbit seems to be that the PS OS is the only thing it will support. Any Linux lovers will have to stick with the current 80gb.

look at these pics you guys are kidding yourselves :) , and rican the power wont affect the actual "power" of the machine, it just means it runs with a lower required amount of power, everything runs the same its just due to smaller cpu / gpu chips etc stuff like that, just like the newest 360 uses 150w, compared to the old ones that use 203w.. they are both just as "powerful" when it comes to gaming tho.
really the only thing i can see wrong with the slim is the same thing i saw wrong with the 80 gigs, only 2 usbs. but other then that i give sony kudos, the redesign is perfect imo
