Advent Children on BluRay is awesome! After seeing FF7AC on DVD, i felt i walked away with more questions than answers, i had mixed feelings! However those feelings changed,.. with approx 30min more of extra video, with better plot explanation, made this a BluRay buy an easy choice! If you played FFVII: Crisis Core and beat it, there is an extra special part in the movie! Add these aforementioned goodies on top of the original feature film, throw in a 8min sneek peek @ Final Fantasy XIII, and you have an amazing buy for $25! If your not a FF fan, its still worth a rent, blockbuster carries BluRay movies! Buy it, support Square,..and hopefully Tetsuya an the gang will give me my damn remake! I think one would be better off importing from Japan. The subs are perfectly good to watch a film with, all the extra footage is still there, and there's an actual FFXIII demo instead of an extended trailer. Has anyone bought the PSN FF7? I want a remake. Or a playable sequel. FF7 left more questions than answers with its cliffhanger ending. Also, from what i was reading, it was supposedly PLANNED that a certain character was gonna be resurrected, but that idea got scrapped. Maybe they should implement that in the remake?? =/ ------------- |

Ah, i'd have to say 7. But 8 and 10 are up there. I like how u could break the hp/mp/damage limit of 9,999 in FF X though! (Technically, you could do it in 8, but that was just one skill) 7, 8, and 10 all had the best stories/plots. Edit: FF8 also had the Eden GF, which could do over 35,000 fully boosted. I'm such a nerd for knowing all of this  ------------- |

Yeah limit break is something that's a must really I think, there's something satisfying about seeing 12 x 99,999 damage on a boss with Wakka's attack reels . 7 & 8 were branched epic "life eaters" lol you could play for months on end and hardly touch the surface of the game really. With X it's more linear but still epic enough. HOLY sh*t! lol! i had a little over 137 hours clocked on my main save. Mainly because i was trying to beat the toughest boss in the game (Nemesis). Guy had 10 million HP  All of his attacks were strong as hell too, even against my characters that had over 9,999 HP------------- |

Now you're gona see who's the geeky one lol IMO the toughest boss was Penance. But to get to him you had to beat all of the dark aeons and some of them were a bit tough. On him my characters were bearly scratching the surface of his 12million HP. I won't even mention (much) the Judgement Day attack... oh the amount of times I died because i couldn't take out even one of his arms before he unleashed it  I had all my characters with ribbon, and stupid amounts of auto abilities (auto haste & auto pheonix etc) custimised in their armour along with celestial weapons, break HP limit on most and stats through the roof and I was still relying on Yojimbo's Zanmato to finish the job. HOLY sh*t AGAIN!! lol! You have the International version! XD Sadly, Penance isn't in the U.S version of FF X. I knew that name sounded familiar! :P That's another thing i like about the FF series. A lot of them had optional bosses that were 10 times stronger than the final boss of the game (ex. Ruby and Emerald Weapon-FF 7, Omega Weapon-FF8, Ozma-FF9). I'm such a nerd, LOL! ------------- |

Yeah I got all the extra goodies  Optional extras is something I always rag the sh!t out of in games lol.With FFX, the first time I played it through I rushed it stupidly so when I came to braska's final aeon I had a hard time of it... stoopid I know. Second time I picked up a couple of the celestial weapons and still got screwed when I found the omega ruins (omega weapon reappears lol) and came across the dark magus sisters accidentally on mihen highroad (ish area) lol so that game me an excuse to play through a third time... 300+ hours later I'm pining for the next FF (x-2). Eh, don't worry, cuz I did the same thing my first time through. I failed at Blitzball, I failed at collecting those Al Bhed Primers, and I failed at tryin to power up some of those celestial weapons (crests and sigils. the crests were easy as hell to get, it was the sigils that made me wanna punch midget clowns in the knees or something). I started another play through of FF7. I'm gonna try that Overflow glitch with Barrett (one hit kills on EVERYBODY! LOL) ------------- |

LOL I was quality at blitzball. Keepa was the best fn player ever . Yeah the primers were a ballache but I got em all the second time round. Yeah crests were real easy and the sigils were annoying. Dodge 200 lightning bolts, win the calmlands chocobo race with a total time of 0 sec, that goddamn fn butterfly hunt in macalania omg... pain in the but-toks lolI'm scared to ask about the midgets, you know... Just in case you ever feel like punching me in the knees or ANYTHING I'm not vertically challenged so please don't... just don't, ok. LOL! Don't mind the midget references, a lot of times, i make extremely random comments, LOL! About that overflow glitch, i'll have to PM you about that. It's an extremely long process of powering up 2 certain ultimate weapons (well, long process for one of them, not barrett, lol) Basically if u fulfill certain requirements for these weapons, you can deal so much damage at once to an enemy that it actually reads as a negative figure. The game notices this, and attempts to fix it by instantly killing off the enemy (such as Emerald Weapon, Ruby, Sephiroth, or just about any enemy in the game) ------------- |

Yeah, leprechaun (1 - sequel 50million - they really did those to death), Willow (brilliant), he was Prof. Flitwick and also a goblin in the Harry Potter films. Don't know what happened to the memory card but I lost all my saves on it one and it stopped working! I was heart broken! Also, I recently started a new game of FF VII on my ps3, I got to Junon and found that my disc must have had a scratch, couldn't get any further than one cut scene. Luckily they just released it for download so I got it and have been carrying on :D I also got a massive scratch in my copy of X in the end. I looked online recently to see what version (serial number) versions of X play properly on the 1st gen ps3's (like i said, I got mine as soon as it came out). So if anyone has a copy they would be willing to part with I would pay you hansomly for it, assuming it's the correct one! |

yeah kalibur anima was my first choice as fav but i tend to find myself using the sisters more then anima though i did use anima for quick massive damage i would use the sisters for bosses though if anything by looks bahamut from x was just insanely bad ass looking
oh and btw i usually play through 7 without using any summons since the game is that damn easy same with 8 (unless im fightin omega weapon then ill use eden with my third character while zell and squall use limits) -------------

Imagine with me if you would, FF7, redone with the Advent Children theme, imagine the first reactor being amazingly done, character models that would make you drool, same voice acting as in the movie, and my favorite part, non midi uncompressed redone music, my god, some of the reworked ff7 music done by and actual symphony, brings literal tears of joy to my face! Imagine what the Playin as vincent would be like, imagine what the Weapons would look and sound like, imagine the magic casts, sorry got alittle carried away!

Yeah they really did mind feck us all with that one. There were FF fans cumin' in their pants at the prospect and it turned out to be a pipe dream, and Square are just pr!ck teases. Fav summon: Bahamut (FFX) though Anima and Magus Sisters were pretty close. Worst summon: Quezacotl (FFVIII). Actually, outside of battle, Carbuncle was one of the best GF's to junction with. If you wanted a character stacked with health and vitality, that was da one to use. And that overflow glitch won't kill ruby in one hit, because there actually IS a limit to how much u can do with that glitch. I believe the max damage falls right below his max hp (900,000?) ------------- |

i never could beat emerald or ruby i tried and tried and never could beat them. i even got the 3x materia and combine it with Knights of the round and i still got my ass kick
one useless GF i thought never should of been made was that damn cactus GF from 8. because when you first get him it was cool getting 1000 hits (or what ever that number was,) but as you got further along in the game it was pointless to even have him or use his attacks.

Are u serious? zellot, he was the second most powerful gf in ff8!! Non elemental damage meant it hit every enemy for full damage, and at level 100, his attack deals 10,000! plus, he required no boosting at all. i hate boosting!! Edit: It's fixed damage. For every 10 levels, the Cactus GF gains an additional 1,000 to his attack. So, at level 10, he does 1,000, level 20 he does 2,000, etc..... ------------- |

Getting to level 100 in FF8 would take an awful lot of time, and make the game harder. The monsters level up with you and are actually easier at lower levels. The best way to play through is with no grinding at all, unless you're after a particular item to refine or something. One of the great thins about VIII was no level gridning, which XII just filled itself up with (Dustia at beginning ftw). ------------- War is God's way of teaching Americans geography. |

| How did you never mange to beat emerald Zellot?! As you lot know I'm replaying FF VII at the moment. I just got the Highwind and beat Emerald already! Takes a little time, but it's easy, just breed a gold chocobo, get the knights of round and mime materia, and w-summon from battle arena. Then you need to spend some time in the Gelnika with clouds apocalyps sword (ap x3) and master the mime so you can have two. Then you can cast knights of round over and over over again untill he's dead! Very boring but it's the best way to beat them. Just don't forget to get the underwater materia to get rid of the 20min time limit, and put some materia in 2x or 3x gowth slots on weapons or armor as you get 50,000 ap for winning the battle. And the all 3 master mateias :) |

Hopefully this is right: Go to the Junon underwater reactor, and there should be a tunnel where u can encounter enemies. One of the enemies is a Ghost Ship. You have to Morph it to get the Guide Book (Best character to morph with is Yuffie, since her attack power stays the same with that materia. Everyone else does considerably less damage). After you've acquired the Guide Book, take it to Kalm (first city you come across after leaving Midgar on disc one) and give it to the wandering traveler in one of the houses there. In exchange for that, he'll give you the Underwater Materia. NOTE: There is a Ghost Ship you can fight in the Battle Arena at the Gold Saucer, but don't waste your time tryin to morph it, because items can't be gained in the arena (except for prizes). ya, with a third party hacking device, like a gameshark. But that causes some major issues within the game. Like it crashes at certain points and you'll never be able to get past those points without starting over. Besides, it's not worth it, since u have no control over sephiroth anyway ------------- |

Good luck with that one. I still haven't finished 12. Story was too damn confusing for me, lol! And that new battle system threw me off. I kinda like turn based rpgs. Baldur's Gate, Fallout 2, FF 7,8,9, 10, X-2, all of them have good battle systems. ------------- |

yeah i feel ya on that, the battle style threw me off really bad. i even restarted and the story still doesn't really make much sense to me :/ guess i'll give up now and save myself time ;D at the same time every new one they release, they try to bring in something new. and sadly it looks like 13 will have the same type of battle style :( i just hope they'll put in an option to swap it from turn-based to whatever it is they used in 12. ------------- yup. i'm done. |

Ya. I just can't deal with that new battle system. If it wasn't for that, i'd be pumped for 13. Man, if they ever do decide to remake 7 or make a playable sequel to it, they'd BETTER keep the original battle system intact, or at least make it like 10. :O ------------- |

Kingdom Hearts was ok, because they started out with that battle system. FF has been turn based since the beginning up until 11 and 12. Those were the least successful out of the series. Who knows? It may work for 13, but i'm just saying i'd rather play it turn based. ------------- |
