A new map has been added to the server to celebrate there were over 100 downloads in a month for VCTF-AnarchyHalls!
In contrast to the first custom map that was added, the oh-so-fun arena spamfest VCTF-AnarchyHalls, this new addition is a map with winding corridors that may be enjoyed by the most hardcore TDMers amongst us-- There are no vehicles on this warfare map! WAR-Flux (by Cr4zyB4st4rd)  Description: Project Flux was designed by the Liandri Corporation specifically to make warfare more deathmatch oriented. The dynamic battlefield is separated from regular warfare maps by its smaller scale, and is intentionally constructed to appeal to hardcore oldsk00l DM/CTF players whilst still keeping classic warfare players feeling at home. DOWNLOAD WAR-FLUX (PS3) from the server website: akserver.tk NOTE: The server is listed under VCTF mode but the map list has both VCTF and WARFARE. I encourage everyone to download the map but it may take a few weeks before we actually get to play it. Players who don't yet have the map installed will get kicked from the server if it gets voted. Hopefully as many people will download this as they did last month. But hey you can always practice it offline in the meantime :)

Please let me know if there are any bugs or glitches. It's probably the first time this map has been put on a dedicated server for PS3.

There are currently 2 custom maps on the server and yes they both work! I asked if anyone could report bugs and glitches because when I tested this map on the server the 1st time it seemed the uDamage was invisible. But it seems to be OK now!
More maps will be added eventually. I want to add them one-at-a-time so people have time to download them. You might ping high to this server Dragov (server location: texas) but go install the maps and join us anyway, we haven't seen u on ut3 for a long time Server website with downloads: http://akserver.tk |

naw Draggy was in vctf lately... i've never laughed so hard as i did listening to Skiller blow a gasket after Draggy kicked his ass :) i've never heard someone so mad... sounded like Skiller wanted Draggy dead for real loool

This is a spam maps... BUT i like to change and it's funny to skip the ****ty circle maps : suspense, sandstorm, necropolis, suspense, sandstorm, necropolis, suspense, sandstorm, necropolis...

It is indeed a spam map and that's prob why Rocky likes it so much ooh burn
In regards to the multiple Clanwarz servers available across the modes, I think at least some of them are Clanwarz' own servers they put up to advertise their service.

Hummm ok. Because i want setup a VCTF EU server for 2months...
I want 16slots and put customs maps like Flux, Anarchy Halls etc... This is 66$, if some people want to pay with me they will be admin too. |

That's bad news for me bc I started my server and added these "exclusive" custom maps just to attract US players off the EU servers (and so that I could have 1 server to play on where my ping isn't 300+). Currently in VCTF there's only 1.5 US servers and like 3-4 EU servers. I literally spent MONTHS tracking down map authors and corresponding with them, testing various maps to make them available for the first time ever on PS3 so that there would be some exclusivity and incentive for players to come to my server. Not to mention all the time and effort that went into designing web pages and advertising the map downloads. I got 100+ ppl to download AnarchyHalls PS3 in a month! I basically worked my ass off more than u can imagine and the server has only been online for ONE month and now you wanna step in after being gone for years and want to take over the show. I'm all for sharing my work and the EU players deserve to play these maps as well. But I would appreciate if you could allow my server to maintain its exclusivity for a longer period of time for all the work I have done to bring these new maps to our community. |
