actually, i never think about that, i prefere to see my way like a normal day, nothing special for me.
 
but well, i think the message from the mayans talking of them of course, was that we have to made changes in our mind, for brings better things, idk, most of ppl know that their calendary never has been finished, they stoped to write it in that date, for the spain's conquer, anyway. no matter what will happen that day, i'll be happy to has been life my time as i like.

Let's see.. Y2K?  Didn't happen..  2001? (new millennium paranoia still lingering, since 2001 was the true start of the new millennium after all)  Still didn't happen..  06/ 06/ 06? (OMG!  It's the number of the beast.)  Nada.  2012?  I consider it BS.  How much you want to bet that if nothing happens, they'll announce findings pointing towards a new near-future date being the supposed end of the world?  My money's on 2014 and/ or 2016.  I guess people want to believe that the early 2000's are supposed to be our last days.  I'm going to laugh when it's 2100 and nothing's still happened.  Oh wait.. I'll probably be dead then, but more than likely because I'll die before 100 or something.

Hmmm, strange that ancient cultures mension it imo!! On a side note, how can we be certain the year 2012 actually is 2012!?Do we count year zero as 1 year? Also, its strange that all religions/cultures speaks of a big flod, better yet a socond comming!
There was peoples/tribes here on this planet with star maps of stars they could not see with the naked eye! How is that possible?
And the so called prophecies:1: twin planet in the exact same orbit as earth, just on the other side of the sun!
2: We are in the so called intergalactic plane with our galaxy, We are going to get alot of gamma rays etc.
3:The Tectonic plates of this planet is on the move cos of our magnetic poles is moving.. (Himalayas was built by the indian tectonic plate pressing up north)
4: Secharia Sitchin Talks about The anunakis and their Nibiru/planet of crossing. This planet has now entered our solar system and is going counter clockwise. Thats why our planet is affected..(gravity and electromagnetic) Thats why the vatican built the telescope on the southpole.
 
PS: It strange that our prime minister was visiting that telescope on antarctica, and at the same built a huge storage of seeds and vital things 10 miles in the mountains on Svaldbard...

that's what i say i don't believe it because for several reasons.
1. that's the day the mayan calendar ended
2. theres to many stories on how it's gonna happen.
I don't believe it but we won't know till that day comes

The Mayan's descendants also kind of debunked it.  Well, there was article about it awhile back.  His opinion of what 2012 means is that it's a simple change over of the calender or more basically, the beginning of the new millennium.  Remember.. the Mayan's didn't go by the Gregorian calender or whatever our calendar's called, so 12 AD might of equaled say.. 23 *insert abbreviation* to them.  More possible proof was mentioned in that article and that was an isolated piece of the record.. for 4772 or something like that.  My money's on Spanish conquistadors or natural disasters destroying most of the latter part of the calendar or something.  Perhaps, that part was not hidden yet.

I was talking with someone earlier about it and one possibility we discussed was about 2012 being the beginning of the new ice age.  Think about it.. a change of lifestyle for everyone.. maybe 2012's the year the ice returns.  I doubt it, but what if it is.  After all, if global warming is having enough of an effect now, maybe 2012 will be the year all the fresh water from glaciers and such shuts down the Atlantic corridor.  Of course, this would be no The Day After Tomorrow (Hollywood has a knack for over-dramatizing stuff after all.)  It would be a more gradual process, like over a decade, so if it were to begin in 2012, we wouldn't see glaciers in say.. my state, Indiana for at least a couple years, if not more.

Da 7 Mayan Prophecies

The 1st Prophecy:

Based on his observations the Mayans they predicted that to start off of the date of its civilization from the 4 Ahau 8 Cumku is to say from the year 3113 AC, 5,125 in the future, or is Saturday 22 of December del year 2,012, the sun is going to receive a fort ray originating synchronizer del center of the galaxy will change its polarity and will produce a gigantic radiating blaze.

By then the humanity must be prepared to cross the door that the Mayans left us, transforming the present civilization based on the fear into a much more high vibration of harmony.

They prophesied that until that time more and more intense spots of the solar wind they would appear in the sun and that from 1,992 the humanity would enter a last period of great learnings, great changes.

That our own conduct of depredation and contamination of the planet would contribute to that these changes happened.

The first prophecy announced that seven years after the beginning of the last Katum it is to say in 1999 would begin a time of the dark that would face us all our own conduct.

They said that the words of their priests would be listened to by all we as a guide to wake up.

They name to this time like the time that the humanity entered the great hall the mirrors, a time of changes to face the man same himself to do that between a the great hall the mirrors and is watched.

That he watches and he analyzes his behavior with the same one, with the others, the nature and the planet in where he lives.

A time so that all the humanity by conscious decision of each one of us decides to change, to eliminate the fear and the lack of respect in all our relations.
