I started the Unreal series when it came out on PC, late 90's dont remember when I burned my braincells from '97 till I went to jail in January of '08, sorry back to the story, then Tournament came out to compete with the Quake engine, then Unreal 2 came out and then the next Tournament came out and then I moved back home lost my way, and found my way when I saw UT3 sittin' on the shelf used at Gamestop for $20 bucks in the spring of '08, and I played all day and night until I drank my self to sleep, then I started to play online with you all, and I still suck.

for my part, I got the PS3 for last Christmas so I got UT3 in January.
I love this game. I played a lot on one of the previous version for the PC but never online.

Been playing since March 16, 2008 and yet I still play like a noob :( I played UT99 in high school. When I bought it I was initially going in to buy the Nascar game (I know right?). I saw this game thankfully or there might have never been a ROLLTIDE to kick around

Retro call back111!!!11! Awesome game Doom, still got it on this pc, still play it from time to time. There gonna release a new Doom(4) Sometime in the future, brand new engine running it to. Won't be out until late next year i heard.
 
Anyway i got UT3 on Feb 2008, couldnt really get into it at first but keep playing it offline for like 4 months and it started getting stale so hooked it up to be able to go online in/around June 2008, and ain't stopped playing it since.

Got the game summa 2008...didn't play it until september 2008...didn't hav a mic and only really played ctf under HimeX3 and DSX_DeathBringer...got more into it around christmas time (AK-47_dabomb)...then went off for 2 months...got back into the game - on and off - in march 2009 - got a mic :) hehe (T-H-E_BOMB), then propa started playin around june again, (ckc_bomb & LaDy_BoMb) i'm lovin the game now :) soooo i've been on and off really

since March 9th my b day last year didnt starty really two play intill got wi-fi enternet for my ps3 witch was 8 months after so im still a n00b i guess idc :)

I started when people actually played Warfare... and those who did, didn't b****.  There was more than one server to find your friends in and none of this fighting to get into the one server.  The only part I could deal without were those damn Midway servers.

The day it came out for PC.  Played it for about a month, got pissed that there was a lack of custom content and no "good" version of UTComp, and I was pissed that there was over 1000 known bugs the first week it came out.  So I quit, went back to 2K4 until 360 launch, played 360 version for a week, Xbox 360 got red ringed.  After about 3 weeks, I waited, got my 360 back and played UT3 and Halo 3 again for a week, then my Xbox 360 account got hacked, with all my mother's credit card information and all my DLC stolen.

I was finally back to playing November of 2008 on the 360, I didn't get into UT3 dueling until January, mostly because I didn't like UT3's style of 1v1 compared to UT2k4's hitscan fest.  I went back to PC version after the Titan Pack came out, making the 360 version look very bad next to the ps3 version now.  All summer long I wanted a ps3, then I realized I spent over $3000 on xbox crap, making my stuff look stupid.  Now I duel daily on UT3 getting my a** kicked by rythem and paperk.  GG.
