So I got bored of waiting for warfare matches and the stock maps for duel/pugs bore me I figured I'd set up my own thing. To try and make sure people show up I invited people I see around a lot. The basic idea is to get people acquainted with custom maps that aren't Deck again.
  • Players have to set up their own matches friday through sunday
  • It is double elimination
  • The final 3 matches will be streamed/recorded
  • There will be at least an Eu and a NY server. TX server seems likely.
  • There will be 7 (custom maps) in the mappool. Both players can pick 2 they don't want to play and play best of 3 on the remaining maps
  • Map downloads at mediafire.com/velnias
  • Brackets and final player TBA

Too bad you're starting it now man. I'm just planning on finishing a second duel map in HOLP style called DM-Valkner ;p

Anyway, need any support just hmu.
Hope things will roll smooth as only this weekend has been reserved ;o

I'm only really good at duel when I'm 100 % warmed up. So hopefully people will be on to play some CTF Pugs b4 these matches.

And if it's Eu vs US ? Do the players discuss the server choice themselves or are there any rules for it ?

I hope you'll allow spectators when the duels go down :)

I just assumed players could figure it out
maybe both players pick a server and the player with the highest total fragcount gets to pick the tiebreaker
though westcoast v eu i'd say use NY

i voted CS... in that last duel tourney didn't he dam near get a godlike on Mikey on a eu server? :o sh1t was brutal... if he can do that to Mikey on an eu then he should atleast have a shot at pulling out a win vs Phantaci on an eu with Phantaci being in Cali

I think I can say this without getting trolled and I can say it knowing it doesn't mean to much but, I am the best active console UT3 dueler in the world lol.
So if so and so beats so and so it doesn't mean much, the outcome is changed when you substitute my variables.
