Cs, allowed me to do this thread as I will be able to update it more frequently.

Anyhow


UT3 Warfare Tournament
DOUBLE ELIMINATION
When: Starts June 17th (Roster Lock June 13th)

Rules: Maps will be predetermined, with the tie breaker ALWAYS being Floodgate or Downtown. 3 Points to win and it will be best 2 out of 3 (different maps). No glitching of any kind is allowed...and the team caught doing so automatically forfeits that map.
i.e Serenity exploiting of Leviathan, glitching outside of map, getting behind enemy core, or anything explicitly of the like.
Unnecessary tank spawn killing is up for review and may result in an infraction.


In the event of US vs EU
Teams will choose a map of their choice (from the Official Map Pool) to be played on the opposing team's server. The tie breaker map will be played on a NY server. The tie breaker map will be either Downtown or Floodgate.

In the event of US vs US
Maps will be predetermined and server options are restricted to central servers, Texas/Chicago.

but 2 questions,

First: what server play¿?

and 2, sorry because in english i can´t  write this question and translater for read is vgood but for translater i wrote is vbad.

perdon, lo escribo en castellano por que si no, no se me entiende, quiero decir que los 5 que estamos ahi somos el equipo que tiene que jugar, pero si alguno no puedo sera sustituido por otro wlrd, ninguna alt account, solo jugadores que solo estan en wlrds, si no habra ningun problema¿?

si alguien que entiende el castella y ingles puede traducir la pregunta mil gracias

Teams will have no more than 2 weeks to play and complete their first match up. (Unless under special circumstances)

Examples of special circumstances might be:

  • physical illness or injury
  • depression or similar mental or emotional illness
  • specific learning difficulty
  • bereavement or serious illness of a person with whom the student has a close relationship (DERP, COPY PASTE FAIL)
  • serious financial or accommodation difficulties

imo when a team doesnt have enough players online they can make use of a free agent and afterwards he cant play for any other team in tourny

How about making a New team with everyone that enlisted but didn't get picked up by the existing teams? And why do some teams get to have 6 players in their squad again? That's not fair.

Why not just group all those extra players together with the team-less players that enlisted, then maybe have this New team qualify in to the brackets VS the lowest seeded existing team.

I think a backup wouldn't be a bad idea for some teams in case someone has to leave/can't show up, although previous tourneys have shown being a sub sometimes just means you're not going to play at all. I think there's still over 5 free agents to make an 8th team if they're interested enough.

I can see the advantage of having a backup player but I can also imagine teams would use that advantage to rotate players at convenience (for example, for different maps). I say if one player can't show up, tough luck. That's how it would be for all the 5-player teams rite?
