Rules, Maps, and Rewards (CTF Tournament II)

CTF Tournament II Rules

This will be a 9 team Double Elimination Tournament.  Main bracket will start off with 8 teams.  If any team loses they will continue in the loser’s bracket.  Any team that is defeated in the loser’s bracket will be eliminated. Winners of the Losers bracket will play winners of the Main bracket.

Main Bracket (MB)

There will be 3 rounds in the main bracket.  Rounds 1&2 will be best of 3 games.  Round 3 will be best of 5.  Final game (LB winners vs MB winners) will be best of 5.

Loser’s Bracket (LB)

Loser’s bracket will start off with Super Heroes vs. the first Loser’s from Round one in the main bracket. If you are sent to the loser’s bracket check the tournament ladder to see your next opponent. You may also message me or drokun via PSN or forum for you next opponent.

 

All LB games will be best of 3 until the last game vs Main bracket winners (Best of 5).

 

Playing time

Each team captain must manage who plays and when.  Every player must play on your team unless unavailable at gametime.  Teams may only sub before or after each map is played.

 

Choosing Maps and Setting Schedule

Each captain is responsible for choosing maps and setting match times. Rounds 1 and 2 of the main bracket… Captains must choose 1 stock map a piece from the map pool.  

 

Example:

Team A chooses – Vertebrae

Team B Chooses - Reflection

 

Tie Breaker for each round in the  main bracket  will be predetermined custom map. Main bracket only

 

Example:

Team A wins – Vertebrae

Team B wins – Reflection

Determined Tie Breaker – Razor

 

In the loser’s bracket all maps will be picked by the captains.  No customs will be in the loser’s bracket. Each team will choose 1 stock map a piece and agree on Tie Breaker map.

 

Example:

Team A Chooses – Omicron Dawn

Team B Chooses – Strident

Team A and Team B Agree on tie breaker – Searchlight

Custom Maps for Tie breakers will be:

Round 1 – Razor

Round 2 – Orestes

Round 3 – Tangled

If you already have any maps from holp3 or tangled please uninstall first... This is a newer version.

 

Choosing Server

Each captain must choose a server to play on along with map choices.  If there is a tie breaker… both teams must agree on server. If both teams agree on the same server..  all matches will be played on that server.

 

Servers to choose from:

uNrated – New York

Clanwarz FTW – Atlanta, Georgia

More servers to come…

 

Recording

All games must be recorded.  If your game isn’t recorded you could lose out on a prize. However, you can play without it being recorded but you will not be eligible for certain rewards.

Make sure one of these players are available to record your match.

If you have any of these install uninstall them before doing the HOLP3Vol1 USERDATA.JAM.

WaR, i talked to drone an we should be on to play on 2nd of oct on sunday around 2pm central, i will double check with my team but i think chochy is gone that day, i have to arrange things for disco to be avalible and frag has to work later that day but so far this seem like the 1st working window to play you guys and i will double check with drone and my team mates,,  look forward to good matches.

new cooked maps, uninstall old HOLP3Vol1 files before installing
winner's brackets 1 stock mapchoice each, predetermined custom tiebreaker
loser's brackets all stock mapchoices
