Epic mentions that PC can be a "primary platform again" Up to five PC exclusives are going to be in development after Gears of War 3. This could mean a new Unreal Tournament will be PC only again, and we can live happily ever after. |

Well I'm sure a lot of people would like to see a descent console port but ya the game could look/run amazing on a high end gaming pc.

They won't be big names if they're working on 5 at a time, their recourses are finite. And I'd like to think they'll just showcase the new unreal engine with another installment once it's out (which won't be until the next console generation).

I'm sure Epic knows how dead UT3 has always been on PS3, 360 and PC. Concidering how games like Halo, GOW, MAG and MW have done in sales and player count. I don't see why Epic would care much about Unreal? Microsoft, Sony and PC all want blockbuster games. I doubt that UT4 can reach sales or player counts that are anything close to BO's. Its about money to Sony, Micrsoft, PC and every game designer. So why make another Unreal for the 100 or less Unreal players?
We would all love another Unreal, but i'm just not very optimistic about them accually making one. |

i think we will see a new Unreal or something like it when the PS4 comes out. They'll need a game to showcase their new Unreal engine. that's where they make money. Licensing it out to other games.

I agree with Bain. The next gen systems will probably have Unreal at launch, but my guess is it will be Unreal III (hopefully they learned from Unreal II and Bulletstorm) and not Unreal Tournament 4.

no, they will make a new unreal tournament.... unreal tournament 3 could have been a lot more popular but it was overshadowed by games like gears, halo, modern warfare, rainbow six, and resistance. UT will make a comeback and hopefully epic will promote the game like they did for gears. the console community needs a good competitive arena shooter to go MLG. |

Epic "might" make another Unreal some day? Thats just not good enough! :(
We should all just pitch in and buy the rights to Unreal Championship and bring it back. :) Skill wise its superior to UT3. |

They should of done more to advertise the game and how hard is it to put a demo in the store? I know it's too late now but a couple years ago that would of helped out a lot! |

Yea if Epic made Unreal championship playable on 360 and put it in the arcade for like $10 it would get pop'n real quick. If you had great skillz in that game you were pretty much godlike. Its a great game. |

yeah, that's what was so awesome about the game. if you were truly a bad ass then you could play an entire pub without dying and when you played pugs with great players it made for some intense games. i was on like 3 different teams in that game and we played matches all the time. the trash talk was awesome too and when you talked trash on someone you actually played them in a 1v1 and then everything was cool ha

you cant please the console consumers and the pc consumers with the same product.
epic had success with gears, and they chose to console as their future.
but of course they will make more unreal series.. companies live and die off their IP's.. and unreal is the one that built them.
if they have any chance on the PC again, itll be with unreal.. and itll have to be alot closer to ut2k4 then gears of war to be a success.

those games are for the casual gamer. anyone can pick them up and play online and hop on the single player mode for achievements and trophies. once players start getting better and better at games and when professional gaming tournaments start getting more popular on console like they are on pc, that's when arena shooters will make it on console. once the new consoles come out they will make a new UT. what we need is the support from the company who makes the title by providing us with content, dedicated servers, and tournaments. i'm guessing when the new consoles come out they will include cross-platform gaming between PS and XBOX for arena shooters because that's the smart thing to do
