PSN Reset Password Error

   If you get this error when you reset PSN account:
ERROR PW RESET: PlayStation®Store is not available in the selected country or region.

SOLUTION: http://www.community.eu.playstation.com/t5/PlayStation-Network/ERROR-PW-RESET-PlayStation-Store-is-not-available-in-the/td-p/12833188/page/2

To reset your password and login to the PS3:

1. Try logging in in the PS3 with your old password. It will send you a "Reset password" e-mail.
2. Go to your email inbox. Copy the "reset link" Sony gives into your address bar of your browser.
3. Change this https://store.playstation.com/accounts/security/resetPassword.action?token=
to this https://store.playstation.com/accounts/reset/resetPassword.action?token=
and after ?token="all the code that was in the original link"
4. Now go to this link. Enter the Spam security digits and continue. Enter a new password includingboth a letter (f.x. a) and a number (f.x. 1) and the password must be at least 8 digits long.

	I just tried that link for fun, inputting an old email address to see if it was registered, which it was, and the reset email got sent immediately! I clicked the link and reset my password on that account. It's two days now since I did that same on my legit account and still no email. /facepalm

	Anyone still waiting for their email to change their password? I got 9 through at the same time but doesn't work :( Which means... I have to use striderisacnut for now.

	lol dan wow u serious??... i changed my thatsmatt pw last night... i wanted to change it and it sent an email.... i done it 3 times.. i then went straight to my laptop... went to my email and the 3 were literally there straight away.... i dont have a clue why its taking so long for you.... or anyone else for that matter lol

	well i think i read something about pw reset error and they are doing something about it idk... but the thing is that u requested ur emails for pw change days before i requested mine for thatsmatt acc.... and i got them straight away and they worked... and u got em days later than u requested them...... and now they dont work.... so idk whats up lol..

	I sent them an email a few of days ago but I tried to use a sub-acct that was created on a different PS3. Saw the reply today to call them directly and 40 mins later I reactivated one acct (without a legit email) but got the same "SITE MAINTENANCE THE SERVER IS CURRENTLY DOWN" when attempting the 2nd. Hope no ones hacked into it! BTW - sony guy told me as long as you remember the email accts and correct spelling of your acct (as confirmation) you can retrieve it OR replace it with one that may not have legit email. Try typing in PW and confirming first it worked for me

	They took PSN offline due to another security problem having to do with an email / birthdate combination as an easy way into an account. So in this case, reseting your password will make no difference since the hackers can still get in without a password :(
