pls play on US servers more!!

I'm playing out of asia again and get 450-550 ping to EU (borderline unplayable) but US is slightly better (300-400) so i wish there'd be more ppl playing the US servers.. but i always see many americans go to the EU servers instead?! if we just decide to use the US servers then they will be populated more often.

yea man i was playing from EU over winter and wow i can really see the difference now that i'm back in asia. UT3 is really not kind to high pingers. besides having a harder time hitting moving targets, you will die all the frickin time i swear... and it also restricts your movement cuz u can't do certain jumps on maps etc. so yeah it does get very frustrating when "lesser" players keep pwning you now after i was serving them all winter haha but oh well... i will still be a UT3 addict until nexuiz comes out!

Despite your lag, you still were more than capable of killing a noob/ mediocre player like me fairly often.  As for the server situation, I don't know why people do it.  If I actually could get online, I wouldn't bother with EU servers unless that's where everyone was.  Then again, maybe that's why some people are doing it.

Anyhow, I doubt I'll be on UT3 anytime soon.  I either need to get a wireless router or a whole new PS3 for that.  For some reason, my PS3 works on wireless connections, but not on wired.

I suggest resetting internet settings and running the ip address test, then make sure your ports are open for the ps3 to connect.

I had a friend with a wireless router, though I never tried their wired connection (They had both.), so it may just be my hookup.  The problem is I don't know how to reset the box.  I unplugged everything, but it still didn't go off completely.  Resetting internet settings?  I stupidly completely restored my PS3, so I'm pretty sure they were reset.  That's why I'll no longer be able to get on my alts.  I never wrote down the fake email addresses and passwords, so they're gone for good.
