Making sigs in AE

   hey, this is probably the wrong forum, but in case anyone here knows .. ive been messing around with after effects lately.. one of the things i fiddled with was making a sig - but i didnt keep in mind what limitations id have.. is there any way for me to render/export my video as a good quality animated image? I tried gif and it just looked horrible..
