Ok. I got a 40GB ps3 . Mod up with some bad a** lights. But i DONT like the classic black body? So iv been looking ALL over the internet to see who might have one they want to sell but CANT find one. Asking the iamgaming nerds to see if anyone has one or knows where i can get one . Plz n thank you for your help.

Will yea dude. But all's there is are controller covers that are white. I like the body of the white ps3 its beastly .

I got the money. I just got to find out who gots one and who wants to sell it for some big cash.. Or should i just buy a body??. Ima be looking for --- A white ps3, Water cooler,And this big as* class case where i can put it in and have it cold

That old style is sure to self destruct sooner or later. You'de be better off buying a large starwars lego kit and building the PS3 into it IMO.
If I was a conspiracy theorist, I would suggest that Sony killed off the backward compatible devices with an update - telling the fans when to fail programmatically. Just seems strange that the yellow light of doom went in waves, with a handful of members failing at the exact same time. This happened over and over again. Then suddenly the newer models aren't backward compatible. Hmmm... or it's aliens.

My launch 20G PS3 is still running like a beast. Ive never had any problems with it. I personally believe the newer models (anything besides 20,60) seem to run funny.

Will .. I say my 40gb is like the only one i'v seen run perfect.. Every ps3 i worked on was a 60gb n 80gb .

I've never tracked traffic but I would think it would be a decent amount depending on how often you play on it. |

my 40GB worked greated for three years. just didn't have enough HD space. the 60's were the ones that got the YLOD.
