We may have already answered this in some way shape or form so I apologize if it's been already done. But I"m curious to know where everyone stands. Personally, I have an untouched copy of KZ2, barely touched SF4 and basically watch movies on my PS3. The only game, that once I played it I have never stopped and can't, is UT3. Yes I see all the talk of all the other FPS but UT3 is the only game I want to play. I don't care what else comes out. I don't care how many people leave, there's always going to be someone playing at some point or another. My love for this game has yet to diminish. Nothing is going to replace the fun achieve playing with not only my friends but the new ones I still make each day (yea for a dying game I still make new friends on here and few of them are noobs). so whats ur take? where do you stand?

Don't like any other multiplayer games, though I'm looking forward to Huxley.
Other than that I play singleplayer games unless there's a PUG, match or feel like a public game with friends. Oh, I'm starting to wonder now why I haven't been able to make a poll or vote in one for a while now, any care to shed some light on this? |

army/realistic shooters are always un-fun in my opinion.. they make pretty much every one in the game decent, very little diffrential in skill as far as aimining or reflexes.. its all about who plays the most and learns to camp the hardest..
as far as ut3.. was a good game.. fell extremely short of its predesscors and is surely not still worth playing unless you are broke and cant afford any games.
people get addicted to ut3 and forget about video gaming.. all they do is play ut3 24/7 and its like their life.. i had more fun in the past 2 months ca**ually playing borderlands and demon souls then i had in the last 12 months i was playing ut3.
why? because thats exactly what a machine like the ps3 was made for.. games like demon's souls and god of war are what consoles are for, if you want to play a shooter seriously then i always prefer the PC.. no autoaim.. no whiney 12 yr olds all over the mic.. and a much higher level of skill

Ive been playing more COD MW2 these days I oca**ionally play ut3 from time to time, but its loosing my interest. Why? because (1) all the good people are leaving, (2) clan matches have died down completely, and (3) too much drama and this site. Now im just waiting for God of War 3 and Lost planet 2.

I have to go with the third option. The only time I really get on anymore is the weekends. However, until I get another online game or actually start caring about Midnight Club: LA, it's the only online game I play. Every other game I play is offline.. and pretty much only Kingdom Hearts and the N64 Zelda games. I plan on getting more Virtual Console games and Brawl for my Wii soon, along with Borderlands and maybe even another copy of LBP (GotY Edition), since the upcoming Water update is so bada** and I need another non-UT3 online game.

The man speaks sense again, most of the decent players have left and nothing ever happens. Just drama from public servers... soooo pointless playing ut3. And there are better games out, MW2 might not be your cup of tea but there are loadsa other titles out there. The move over to MW2 was made easy coz all my psn buddies are pretty much playing it. Choose another title and move on... the gra** is greener on the other side. |

This comes up a lot in party's on 360. I say the game itself is great it is untouchable. Other games are just something to play for a little break. To get the full effect of UT3 it has to be a organized game imo. where each player has a role. Why UT3 stands out as far as skill goes it has to be the ability to dodge and move so well. I played Halo3 and MW2 lately and they both fail big time with dodging and movement. UT3 will always be my first choice to play. Until they make a new unreal that is.
The new unreal would haft to be real good to replace UT3. |
