Lol a good rapper is just that mate, shouldn't judge a man by the colour of his skin but by his character or in this case talents...but Eminem is an all-time great imo - lyrics that have u trippin, poignant and funny as hell!

I don't think the Beastie Boys were exactly a Mainstream commercial powerhouse in the US either outside of their debut album, which I wouldn't consider their best work as fun as it was when it came out. Paul's Boutique was their masterpiece but was a dud commercially. Check your Head did better commercially as did Hello Nasty but the Beastie Boys have always been an Underground Hip Hop crew. They've ama**ed a loyal following over 20 years, but they're for sure not Top 40!
