I'd hope people would actively start playing custom maps so we wouldn't have to play stock maps in any kind of matches anymore as they're replace-able.

Every time I play orestes I get all of these odd glitches that follow to new maps until I restart the game. I see pickups I cant pick up. I don't see the flag. Announcements dont work properly, and weapons are wrong (flack cannon looks like the sniper rifel)

does anyone else have these problems?

Yea I just had this problem and it came from that orestes map so dont download that one. Only Tangled and Rabalder, I'll remove Orestes. If you have it already, make sure to delete it from your mod browser.
