i wish mine didnt pull.. its pulling like a biatch.. but thats probably because i have the sensitivity set at 20 20 20 to make up for the mouse lag

Playing on deck is an advantage to "us" tuna? I don't use kb/m, and it just so happens to be my favorite stock map. It's not impossible to have decent aim with a pad, especially in a game like this. Oh, and hit boxes in general are huge, not just for mouse or pad or w/e.
Most players will never have decent aim with hitscan weapons because they choose to whore flak, rockets, or anything other than hitscan. How can one expect to be good with a shock or sniper rifle if they hardly ever use it? |

I can tell a difference when i play against someone using a mouse and not using a mouse. I can't believe that no one admits to the disadvantage that "we" have. You may do well against most players on deck but that's a whole different story. You have been playing this system for way longer than I have and have had time to form your own strategy against kbm players. It's not like I am sitting here complaining about kbm players blah blah blah. I gave my opinion on kbm and deck and you asked me a question about my opinion. I'm not worried about losing because we learn from losing. |

you are talking about aim assist. everyone has it. walk around a player standing still and your crosshair will move across the screen. it's like a magnet

the best hitscan player ive ever faced on ps3 uses a pad.. the 2nd best uses both depending on what he feels like and the third best uses kbm

yea aim assist is a pain in the ass for mouse users.. the closer u are the more it f***s with you. the further u are away from someone the more of an advantage u have with kbm. also i think all of these things suck but in the end it helps to make it more even.. if the ps3 kbm worked as smoothly and accurately as pc kbm it wouldnt be fair at all. being ive had years of kbm experience ill admit i will always think kbm is superior to a controller. but there are alot of quirky things to deal with and honestly half the time i dont feel in control.. in quakelive i feel like i can spell my name with my feet in mid air i have so much control.
in the end.. it is what it is.. no side has a gross advantage.. kbm has the slight edge.. but really the edge is only noticeable from a distance.. upclose id almost give the edge to pad users.
and some pad users.. like kali.. obliterate the whole arguement that the pad has any setbacks at all

exactly. it's hard to be consistent with a controller because of the slight up and down movements with your thumbs. that's the reason why i think kbm is an advantage. it's easier to move your entire hand.

yea thats what i hate about pads.. i refer to it as the dead zone.. its really alot harder to make subtle movements.
like i said its a good thing the ps3 mouse support is gimped (on purpose im assuming)

Yo Tuna just ask Crow to duel you with kb/m turned off. You each can host a couple maps. Then see how he does? Just to get an idea of the difference between kb/m and controller. If he won't im sure some kb/m user will. Yea im a hater! I hate anything that might give 1 player an advantage over another. And I don't care what anyone thinks bout that fact. Fair & equil is the only way to play. $3.00.00 for some headphones for pub duels? lmfao If your a pro playing other pro's for money maybe? But for pub duels? Sorry but everyone has to agree thats a big FAIL!

its hard to be consistent with a mouse when you play pc games which better mouse support and switch to different games constantly... you need to readjust to the ****ty support when controller only needs to readjust to game speed

Crow might be a little rusty using a controller. I could ask Phantaci to duel me on a central dedicated host using a controller to see if I could tell a difference.

just like any game it takes time to get your aim down.. if someone uses kbm if they switch over to controller its like starting over.. doesnt mean they are bad just means they dont have controller experience in ut3.
ive played with a controller before, but certaintly not enough to be good at it
when quake arena arcade comes out ill have no choice but to get my controller game back to where it was when the first halo was popping.. and i use to wreck kids at goldeneye ;)

second im more than sure he will beat me cause i would have to completely readjust and get my settings right i have dueled with controller only just for ****s ive dueled mikeybrennan beat him 10-0 with controller i dueled (instagib) with envy controller only and ive won..its not like im bad with it .. but..i just prefer mouse and no i dont use headphones either i do find it pointless to buy heaphones for ps3 unless you use them for more than just dueling.. i use my surround sound which is the reason why i have to duel when my daughter is asleep so her >my surround sound that girl can scream for weapons like flak and rockets secondary stinger link gun (primary) sniper i prefer controller (dunno why i find it easier with controller) everything else i prefer mouse

you guys wouldnt remember him because he was old school.. but there use to be a beast at this game named psyborg1, and his bro namzar.. anyhow these guys mopped the floor with everyone back when the game was released.. i was good buddies with them and i beat psyborg1 in a duel with a controller :) that was my crowning controller achievement on ut3

to mikey thats not hard to believe phantaci might have been havign a bad day i remember when i first got my ps3 fixed i dueled phantaci after my first week back and i 10-0 him everyone has their days shock808 is good though i will give him that but its nothing to brag about cause im sure it wont happen again |
