Naah not really any longer, as far as story point of view, but once you get to grand puls you'll find stuff to do for hours. And it's kind of odd that you have to finish the game BEFORE you can max out you characters fully as the last stage of that crystal thing opens after you beat the game.

meh well at least i still have alot of stuff to do then.. i dont wanna flly complete this ame in under 30 hours lol thats too short.. but anyway. ff13 versus is the game to look out for.. thats gonna be awesome... ff13 is good. not great as i expected

Took me 28 hours to get to Pulse, ive spent 5 hours on Pulse and have done nothing story wise. My goal is to platinum it, so easily 120 hours.

Yeah I plan to spend around 100 hours in the next month or two maxing out everyone.  I can't wait to see myself do 99999 Damage to those Adamantoise(GIANT GIANT GIANT TURTLES IN THE PULSE LOL)!!

Genji Glove will let you do way beyond 99,999.

Also with Summon you can hit over 99 999, I did 348 784 with bahamut in Chapter 11

Yh, Its about 1 200 000 cp for one primiary role and 2 000 000 cp for secondary role about 10 000 000 all togeather, not much really

btw.. i dunno if this sonds stupid.. but when i gain the crytsal to raise my role levell.. what exactly does that do?. i dont notice any status changes or anything

Not sure, but I heard it makes your Eidolons stronger. Haven been able to test it yet as haven't got any role lvls after I heard it. But my Bahamut did 99 119 damage when had prim roles 3 and now when role lvls are 4 it does bout 350 000 damage.

what do people think the best party is? cos tbh i just got to the point where i can choose my characters.. but i really like the default lightning, hope, fang team.. i think thats the most even team.. lightning the most versatile character and has alot of ravager and commando attacks which are the two most useful roles in the game for offensive.. hope has the highest magic attribute and is a good medic and synergist. fang has useful sab abilities along with being able to become a sentinal... i would replace hope with snow because i like snow as a character and hope is my least fave... but hope has the best magic and if i swap him then i would have snow and fang which are similar type of fighters since they both have comm and rav... i could swap fang for snow since he has alot more strength and hp. but fang is more versatile... hmmmmmm.. whats the best party in peoples opinions?...

also just wondering... im at chapter 9 and not doing alot of damage with my characters (well no where near the amount of damage if been hearing other people do.. such as 100,000s of damage.... hwere do you lot level up that fast?... or is the best place to level up in gran pulse where u have all the side missions...? and is that the best place for getting gil/componants for levelling up the weapons?.

Adamantoises are best but takes time befor you are strong enough to face them.
But enemies on last place give some fairly good loot.
Grand pulse there are some good things to grind.
Also while doing missions you get some nice things too.

My party is Light, Hope, Fang. Fang more of physical dmg, Hope more of mage, light kind of hybrid. Picked them because I can't stand Vanille or Satz and found more use from Fangs than snow cuz' Sabo role

To hit good you need to upgrade ur weapons.

That means that when the crystaruim is avalaibale to level up, you can too.  Without it, when the crystarium expands, you cant advance any further.

Thats not completely true. So times it expands without new role lvl stone, 10 stages, 5 role lvls, last thing you can develop is role lvl 5. So it just eats you extra for each role 60 000cp for nothing/trophy?

yeah thats pretty much my setup anyway... and ok then well ill be levelling up alot when i get to gran pulse then.. and is it me but is the first weaons for the characters the srongest? like nearly every characters first weapon has best sattack/magic attribute to anything i find so far..

I´m rollin with light/fang/snow cuz i like an offensive party,i had fang learn medic wich gives an extra help and snow learnin synergist....hard hittin team
and now i´m cp farmin on grand pulse,doing some marks but my team is still weak

meh i would prefer hope over snow.. since hope is a much better mage and its esential to have commando, rav,rav for building chain attacks...

i´m just preparin for the last battles.....i don´t like to have a weak member like hope,who has low defense and low hp....i prefer to build snow as mage and put some good accessories boosting his magic
