It's in the game for a reason right.
Same for going titan in the spawns on some maps, why else is it in the game? :/
But you can still USE the tank right?  Placing it on the flag is merely a tactic, a tactic I might add that is not universally frowned upon.  Some players would never do it but some players will.  Same goes for titan, you can still go titan in a match, no one says it's not allowed.  Spawn killing while a titan is just another tactic that some will do and some won't.

The way you describe it using the uDamage would be a tactic some would use but most wouldn't as well

By the way, good duelers don't whine when one of you incompetent players pick up the AMP. We know we are gonna beat you regardless, you just might score an undeserved kill. The good duelrs know how unbalanced the power up is in the right hands and therefore forego its use. If you think playing a duel against kali is hard enough already, imagine if he picks up AMP and kills you multiple times in 30sec. You retards really dont think things through. If you dont play duel consistently then you cannot form a solid opinion on dueling. And no, only dueling against your equally inept friends does not count as a real duel.

No it is not an exact analogy. WHAT you do with the tank, is not the same thing as saying it CAN'T be used at all.  In the case of duel no one is saying what you can and cannot do with the udamage, beserk, etc. once you have it... They are saying it can't be used AT ALL.

I know what you mean.. but I couldn't really think of anything else to compare it with.. Maybe glitches? Although unintentional they are in the game.. And should thus be used?

No, glitching cannot be excused because the makers, Epic, did not intentionally put them in the game.  But they DID put weapons and power ups in the game.

As I said, I don't have anything to properly compare it with as the vehicle balance powerups better out.
But vCTF/WAR players disputing the 'gentleman's code' for duel is like me disputing something trivial about vCTF.. I am nowhere to judge as I'm not competitive in that mode.

lol it was fun ripping kids off for there mom and daddys money, i can a**ure you that! lol the best was when we would scale the packs out of the boxes for the holo's, reload the box with worthless packs, reseal them and then sell a worthless box for $100 and selling the holos on ebay. yes we were pretty much all just scam/con artists ripping off kids. ill prolly go to hell for it too =[

first the last few arguements between strider and envy..homo

second ever wonder why tournaments have always been on pc for ut3 mainly because UTcomp is available plus all the major tournies even with stock maps the players never touched udamage its a tournament rule the same goes for the warfare match that envy loves to show the tank is NOT allowed by the node on downtown it cant go over the guard
 
 
the udamage can do about 1000+ damage if used properly once a person dies the spawns are easy to predict all you got to do is grab the sniper and spawn kill the remaining amount of time ..
 
if you grab the armor and they have the SB 1-2 shots from most weapons will make him have less armor than u SB is absolutely nothing unless you let them grab it all match it can be a game changer

I know this sounds crazy but i'd like to play duels without any powerups whatsoever except for health vials.  For me this would put more emphasis on the fighting itself rather than wandering around maps trying to get the shield belt or whatever. 
 
Like someone else said, its pretty boring to watch.  In my case it woul;d make me try to improve my defence as when i get the shield belt i tend to spam a little bit and pick up cheap kills to be honest which of course isn't honourable.
all roun nice guy lol.
