people are sheepish, its not your fault, your parents probably pushed it upon you.  I could write 2 pages about this trash.  God does not exist, if he does, hes not omnimax god, he is a devil, he is not some one I would ever worship.  Im goin to keep checking this with my esteemed colleague Mr. EK for further moronic developments.  Any one feels that they want a verbal debate on this, please feel free, I'll gladly break out my entire repetuar.  This is of course if you think ghosts and God must be on the same page!!!

Of course we can have a logical debate, how do you think people share their ideas with one another? Sure, neither party will probably convince his opponent to change their way of thinking, but at least you can understand their point of view. I may not believe in God, but I perfectly understand why a person would want to. Discussion and debate is healthy and if some people get offended then they don't have to continue reading the thread.

No.  If it gets too crazy, just move this to Fists of Fury.  As long as no one resorts to personal attacks, I don't think we should close this.

Anyhow, I once stayed a few nights at a relative's house, which was supposedly haunted.  It creeped me out at first, but get this, I didn't hear the "ghost" animals or saw the supposed human ghost that was supposed to be there.  The house still kind of creeped me out though.  I think he (my step-dad) was trying to scare me though.

If you're wondering what I mean about ghost animals, the house was built on what used to be a vet/ pound.  The reason why this supposedly had an affect on the house being haunted was because they euthanized/ destroyed/ killed lots of animals (like dogs and cats) there.

What humors me the most about this is simply this. You have people wanting to simply express the world through their own perception. If you find their notion to be stupid,crazy, foolish then leave them alone. As long as they are not affecting you directly. But when you want to bash God and Christinity.

And its only Christians that get the persecution.

Take public schools for example. You can talk about, or even study in a class of religions in the world. Greek, Roman, Norse, Aztec, Mayan, Incan, Islam, Tribal Africa, Hinduism, Buddahism. The list goes on. But when you Say ''God'' or especially ''Jesus Christ''. A teacher can actually lose there job over such thing. I knew a history teacher who had a picture of George Washington kneeling before a cross. That teacher was threaten to take it down or lose their job.

Here's another silly but interesting example for you to wrap your head around.

You ever notice people say stuff like ''Jesus Christ, God Almighty, God dangit, God damnit'' etc etc

You never hear people so ''Mighty Odin, Holy Buddah, Furious Aries''. You want to know why?

Because God's name, and the name of Jesus Christ have power.

or maybe its the fact that people heard that growing up so they repeat what they say i for one dont believe in God at all but i say those things when i'm angry or whatever it's not that it has power its the same as saying the word f()ck when i stub my toe or something i say f()ck its not difference to me honestly i heard the word a lot growing up..so now i say it also and honestly i would say f()ck more often instead of jesus christ or God damnit except the fact i have a daughter so i try once a while to not cuss in front of her

@ Helscream: I looked trough the god and science website that you posted and every single article I read has been addressed numerous times by the academic community. Most of the entries also even hold many false claims, misleading information, and flat out lies (specifically in the evolution vs I.D. section) within them.

For example, one of the I.D. entries states that evolution fails because it does not explain the origin of the universe or life itself; evolution has nothing to do with either of those ideas, it explains how organisms evolved and accounts for the diversity of life.

Religion and science are simply uncompatable, you can't even compare them because they are two totally different things.

what hes saying is based on fictional movies i forone do believe in ghost from past experiences but i do not believe in the thing people call "God" i for one do not believe in someone where people dont know what to call him so they call him "God" a god is a deity thats not his  true name i know theres names for him like yhvh or yhwh or even allah in hebrew but people say allah and God arent the same person.
