and yeah from the sounds of it you seem like your a vehicle mode player, so i would stick to those first off. once you get the feel and the idea of the mode, learn the maps and get a better feel of your surroundings. this will allow you to get a better idea of how to approach each game on the map and find a comfort zone. work on this until you get the basic feel of everything. then after all of that start working on your flaw areas(fragging, vehicle usage, flag running, attacking/defending). this will train you how to become a better player. but i must warn you about getting addicted to points or stat whoring. this is a big problem i found myself and and many other great players doing while playing this game. sometimes its easy to forget your in a team mode and just do what you want only helping yourself. example being knowing that your team has the flag, but you decide that 159 health and only 1 jump boot left is hurting you from getting that godlike. so you then go camp the boots, armor or big kegs instead of going and helping your teams flag runner out scoring for your team. or also sometimes you will get caught up in camping vehicles around the flag just to get an easy kill on some random opposing flag runner for easy points. then going to grab a shield belt or boots, hoping right back into the vehicle and going back to your camp spot. just learn how to mold in all areas, learn how to work as a team mate and always be aware of the other team and whats going on. always try and take out the biggest threat first before anything else. you can add me on psn, i can show a thing or two...

u gotta remember defendin is about killing tho, cant just have the whole team tryin to run a flag, its about teamwork, and as for the tank on flags, i agree total crap, just make sure u carry a longbow everytime u flagrun and it'll help ya a little

lol yeah i feel your pain about vctf. the reason why players do this in this mode is because the mode itself is broken in the map layouts with armor, health and vehicle. this supports camping and makes it easy to frag others when they cant do it in the other modes because fragging requires skill in those modes and you have to earn your power ups in the other modes. vctf is by far the easiest mode to kill and doesnt require any skill to do so. all the power ups and armor or basically right in your base and easy to get, this supports camping. thats why the majority of the players stick to vctf. this is also why players team stack in this mode bc they want to stat whore and feel like they are good at something. i dont blame them for playing this mode for these reasons. i can say i honestly play this mode to dominate the other team with big hitters, and im extremely good at what i do. i do it right, the way it was meant to. i constantly attack the other team and take out the camping threats and/or vehicles non stop. i let my team know whats going on and when to run the flag and protect them.
