Idiot of the day:

goes to anyone and everyone who spends their time playing ut3 driving around that stupid ass spider mine laying vehicle.

 

one specific player i played vs yesterday spent all 30 minutes of the match sitting in one spot, dropping spider mines.. other stupid mines..

 

im sorry but thats just f***ing dumb.. did it work and were the spider mines annoying as hell? yea they were annoying and overpowered.

 

but my point is wth is that? that is far from anything i would call ut3.. any sort of skill based death match shooter.. to sit in a dumb ass invisible vehicle all game and drop spider mines? im happy that i need to be ALOT more involved and entertained to be having a good time.. not some simpleton ass loser with to much time on his hands that he gets his rocks off by spending hours a day scoring points by dropping spider mines.

I dont think ive ever used that lame ass **** and have no intentions of spider mining for kills, i would be bored out of my mind and i get no thrills from PUB points.

 

 

hahaha deadaim the night shade is my baby in warfare so i'll proudly wear the Iotd badge although  why didn't you just find him and kill him that would of solve it or at least destroy the nightshade when it respawned

well when i did see him i did kill him.. is their a way to kill spider mines that i dont know about? ****s just stay there forever

You can't kill the actual spider mine, but you can kill the spiders themselves with bullets or link shaft.  I think there's only a certain amount that comes out, but hey, I like the Nightshade, preferably the EMP mine and slow-field drops.  I usually focus my spidermines near mid-field in Necropolis, with maybe one in my base.  I'm not exactly good with the Nightshade, but I'll drive it every now and then.  While spawn-killing with the spiders can help, I think a better strategy is putting them at mid-field in your base (like near the Scavenger and Jump Boots), so the chances of scoring a kill on their flag carrier are better.  f*** random defenders/ enemy team members.  It's capture the flag, not deathmatch.  I want to kill the flag carrier or slow potential runners down, not get easy kills.

Deadaim make the longbow your top weapon then use your best weapon button to get out a longbow quicker. and always have boots to jump and avoid vehicles.

boots and longbows works for me.

Yes, those stupid idiots.  How dare they have fun with a game.   Ya know, as quickly you call others nerds for playing video games, you always seem to remind everyone how godly you perceive yourself.   No, they don't play how you do.  They are not elite players.  Get over it/yourself.
