Ok, now your really talking out your a**. I am the kinda guy who played the **** out of each DMC installment, and would run through each level trying to beat it on DMD with the ''No Damage'' Bonus. God of War is not a knockoff, the only similarity is they are both hack'n'slash.

DMC1 was good, DMC2 was stupid and out of place. DMC3 was hard, and bada**. DMC4 was decent. but all it did was have a facelift in terms of graphics and added Nero as a new character, which was refreshing. Capcom reused so many animations and recycle so much bull****, that honestly. DMC4 was a dissapointment, when you look at it as a succsesor to DMC3.

God of War 1 was bada**, and so was God of War 2.

DMC is about a c***y arrogant white haired jokers, running around with smart a** commentary, and stylish fighting styles.

God of War is about One guy (Kratos) practically taking on all odds, out for vegencance and is on a crusade to take on the world, with a in-depth storyline. Lets not forget God of War was superior to DMC in graphics.

DMC = Slick, smooth, fast, agile, stylish fighting

God of War = Aboslutely Brutal, and decimation of your enemies.

I loved DMC4, its gameplay was good. But everything else failed short.

God of War 3 will be superior, all around.

Yes they are alike, 3rd person action, adventure game that both kick az but atleast we can agree on one thing. DMC and GOW both take out Wet in all aspects. The visuals were especially dissapointing.

god of war is definetly the undisputed champ on this genre, the devil may cry games are fun tho

bayonetta and darksiders should both be good games, nothing is gonna touch gow3 tho

Got the GOW 3 demo.  It was decent.  Not sure how i feel about it. I guess i dont like not having control over the camera.  I really like exploration even in button mashers, but lack of camera control really takes away.  I'll just wait for DMC5

yeah i think dmc was fun cos of the great fighting an overall better game... and i agree with modelhyp.. how final fantasy 13 will be probably the only game to come close with it.. but then again... im a huge ff fan so i would say ff13 would surpass it lol
also the 2 uncharted games are up there with the greats too

Just recently got Dante's Inferno. I say it's a must have! I know the game play it's very similar to GoW but you can't go wrong. Especially if you're a GoW fan. I also got Bayonetta. I was very disappointed... But her ass was almost as nice as Jessica Rabbits! Looks like I have too much time in my hands!!!
