Change for the good is a lot different than what we are getting, which is a pile of garbage. Understand what the "change" is that you want before you request change. Don't let psychology rule over reality.

i did respond to you, but you in turn wasted time claiming im not responding and yet at the same time didnt respond to me. how come you didnt respond to my questions at the bottom? because you are an idiot and you really have ZERO ground to stand on.
Israel doesnt need me to defend it, if you are that much of an idiot that you blame the country for defending itself, from cowardly rocket attacks on civilians then thats your own problem. yes HAMAS holds the gaza hostage and you think you are so smart, yet you are to dumb to realize that gaza is being used as a political tool. do you think the residents of gaza want what hamas is bringing? they are trying to finally have peace and its idiots like you that believe all this ridiculous propaganda that are a huge problem. Israel has the right to defend itself, and when you are dealing with an enemy thats main form of combat is placing indiscriminant bombs all over the place not caring who they blow up and firing rockets blindly at civilian targets i dont see how you can complain about israel firing on whatever they have to. and guess what re-re.. were you even paying attention when this all was going on? i was.. and there wasnt 700 refugees in that building.. their are groups that claim 700 refugees+ died in the offensive.. not 700 refugees in one building. the building was being used by hamas just like everything else around it. they went around and forted up in civilian houses and set trip wires in civilian houses all before israel rolled into gaza.
dont talk to me about human rights issues around the world.. that isnt what we are discussing just because i dont label off everything doesnt mean i dont care. we are talking the war in the middle east. i guess if i had been ****d so hard in the debate like you i would be desperately reaching aswell. their have been other posts of mine in previous arguements about human rights on this forum where i have mentioned plenty of other human rights issues. infact i already mentioned the genocide in africa like 3 months ago that you idiots just now brought up.
if you are such a liberal asswipe, that you believe all the propaganda about israel thats fine, a country has a right to defend itselfs, especially against terroist orginizations like hamas.
I already answered most of this before, but your silly ass response about me skirting the issues is ridiculous. so how come you didnt answer my questions? thats right you ignorant prick.

I can't tell all of you how wrong you all are about Isreal. Sygy's post on the previous page most accurately provides the ancient history.
Isreal acts are cowardly to the naked eye because most of you have only been watching TV or reading newspapers for a few years now. I'm not defending Isreal becuase I will not debate about a region that has been in war since cro-magnan times, but the history is a lot longer than 2003-current.
For starters, the Jews didn't take Isreal from the Palestinians, Arabs, etc. by force. The US through the United Nations did and gave the Jews the land. From the day Isreal declared independence, they've been attacked by Arab countries. What you are seeing now is a few years in 60 years of history.
On a side note, I think the new generation of young Americans that believe in "humaitarianism" and self righteousness, haven't the faintest idea of world history. While you were not even a thought in your parent's minds, the world was creating history. That history is a lot different than what you have been told or read.
You all see a few hundred to a few thousand people die and you go nuts. Go learn the history and understand that what you are seeing now is a result of hundreds of thousands of people, if not millions, that have been killed for these "causes".
You all want to justify cowardly acts, then justify the following cowardly acts:
- The current massacre in Africa.
- Iran's ambition to eradicate a country and it's people.
- The Holocaust
- Pearl Harbor
- Slaughtering Native Americans
- The Armenian Genocide
- The slaughter of aborigines
- The Iran-Iraq War
- The Christian Massacres
- The Reign of Terror
- The purge of Stalin
etc. etc. etc.

pinnacle, yes you are correct.. i did mention that about israel but didnt give details.
anyhow tx2k7.. if you really think gaza is about a human rights issue you are so wrong. how come all the countries that create propaganda about it do nothing about their own human rights issues? how can the turks say anything after the armenians? how can iran say anything after what it did to the opposition movements? how come not one of these countries is helping pakistan with the floods? how come they allow honor killings?
you mentioned global human rights issues.. how come none of these countries are helping any of those issues you mentioned? its because THEY DONT GIVE A FLYING f*** ABOUT HUMAN RIGHTS.
all they care about is the destruction of israel, and they use gaza as leverage, werent the same palastians that live in gaza bounced around and kicked out of these so called countries that defend them? all these countries do is support gaza with weapons and keep them as strong as possible strictly because they want israel dead.
ive already said this but apparently you have to repeat yourself over and over to be understood by idiots like you, but after israel was established, the arabs wanted the jews out of the middle east.. israel agreed to partition itself and the arab leaders said NO, and they took israel to war.. Israel won that war.
so this two-state israel that is so highly wanted by the real citizens of israel doesnt happen not because of israel, but because of the arabs. Israel has always given much more on their end in the peace negotations since then and their isnt ONE arab country over there that wants peace in gaza.. they love the issue in gaza.. its their biggest weapon against israel which is like their sworn enemy. if we didnt protect israel by investing in their military you would have real horror stories to read about not just the propaganda bs that you read. the entire country would be wiped out men women and children.
you still never answered my questions i posed.. i find it f***ing HILARIOUS that you have so much to say about christianity yet any criticism (truth.. read their sharia laws, read up on fatwas) about islam and you try and paint me as ignorant. well guess that makes you ignorant and hypocrit. and ONE HELLA OF B1TCH

pretty sad what hamas, and the crazed arab leaders are doing to the gaza strip. they dont care about the lives of palestinians, just like they dont protect the lives of anyone thats in a humanitarian issue over there.. its pathetic that people like you arent smart enough to figure out whats really going on, its all about the destruction of israel and nothing more.. anyone who believes the other crap is just a TOOL of their propaganda.
and you wonder why civilians were hurt?
from wiki
Use of civilian clothes by Hamas combatantsSeveral reports stated that Hamas fighters shed their uniforms shortly after the start of the ground incursion.[282][283][284][285][286] Reports said that unwilling to come into the open space, Hamas militants are fighting in civilian clothes; even the police have been reportedly ordered to take off their uniforms.[148] An eyewitness to the only incident investigated by the UN mission that clearly involved Palestinian combatants said that three Palestinian fighters Israeli troops had surrounded in his neighbour's house were, "wearing military camouflage and headbands of the al-Qassam Brigades."[287] The UN Mission did note that reports by other human rights groups indicate that not all members of Palestinians armed groups were always dressed in military uniform.[287] In another instance Hamada Al-Samouni, a survivor of the Zeitoun incident, said he had seen the bodies of eight Hamas fighters dressed in civilian clothing lying in the streets around Zeitoun.[288] Use of densely populated areas by Hamas combatantsThe NY Times quotes a study published by the Israel-based Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center, charging Hamas with methodically building its military infrastructure in the heart of population centers. According to the study, Hamas not only hides among the population, but has made a main component of its combat strategy "channeling" the army into the densely populated areas to fight.[289]
Use of medical facilities and uniforms by Hamas combatantsSeveral testimonies from local Gazan population and from IDF soldiers stated that Hamas operatives donned medic uniforms and commandeered ambulances for fighters transportation.[217][292][293][294] After the Israeli airstrike on the central prison which resulted in prisoners being released into the streets, several of the 115 prisoners accused of collaboration with Israel who had not yet been tried, were executed by Hamas militants in civilian clothes in the Shifa hospital compound.[295] An IDF probe, released on April 22, 2009, stated that an incident occurred where UN vehicle attacked by IDF occurred when a Palestinian anti-tank squad was being unloaded from the vehicle.[292] The Palestinian Authority's Health Ministry accused the Hamas-run government's security services of using several hospitals and clinics in Gaza as interrogation and detention centers, where medical staffers have been expelled, during and after the war.[296] The IDF probe made similar charges and stated that Hamas operated a command and control center inside Shifa Hospital in the Gaza City throughout the War.[297] Amnesty International rejected the charges by Israel that Hamas had systematically used medical facilities, vehicles and uniforms as a cover, stating that no evidence had been provided proving such actions.[298] Further, Magen David Adom's submission to UN Mission investigating the war stated that, "there was no use of PRCS ambulances for the transport of weapons or ammunition ... [and] there was no misuse of the emblem by PRCS."[299] Use of Booby TrapsImprovised explosive devices (IED) were a concern for Israeli soldiers.[25] One Israeli commander said that booby traps were found in a mosque and 1/3 of the houses. Some of these traps were intended to distract IDF soldiers for the purpose of taking prisoners. All such attempts failed.[2][167] The IDF used D9 armored bulldozers to ensure that paths were cleared of IEDs. These bulldozers were also used to destroy tunnels. The unmanned, remote-controlled version of the D9 (called Black Thunder) were also used. VIPeR miniature robots were deployed by Israeli forces for the first time. These were used for various tasks including the disabling of IEDs. Along with blocking mobile phone communication, the IDF employed electronic jamming equipment to disable remote operated explosives.[138] Among others, The IDF used the new Bull Island system for the first time to identify booby traps in buildings. Bull Island uses a camera shaped like a tennis ball that can be thrown into a building to transfer 360 degree imagery to the troops outside of the structure.[14][16] |

i think you missed the point of what i was saying, and i hope you don't think that i am b****ing about israel because i wasn't. i know a lot about world history but i'm mostly interested in the mesopotamia area B.C.E.. the reign of terror is very interesting btw! change isn't going to happen over night, but as long as we put way more funding towards science and education then i'll be happy |

Dead Aim youre right about Hamas and Heznollah being vicious backwards fanatic muslims.
But Fanatic Jews and Christians need to be outed on the other side ... fanning the flames, spewing the same backward, fanatic garbage and sabotaging any chance for Peace.
American Christian Fundamentalists, who out of one side of their ignorant mouths spew anti semitic hatred, provide material economic and political support for right wing fanatic Jews in Israel for settlements.
Most Israelis are quite secular, but a minority of fundamentalist Jews in Faustian deal with American Fundamenmtalists who want to bring about the Apocalypse continue to posion the well of any potential peace.
Chalk up another reason why as a species we'd be better off WITHOUT RELIGION.

as much as you are right, which you are.. regardless of anything on the american or christian end of things.. the arab leaders wont ever work torwards peace in gaza.. they dont want peace.
hamas and hezbollah are evil. like you apparently agree.. they are supported politically, and economically by a large majority of the region.
the arabs want war more then anyone, israel is just a bit stronger then they are or they would of wiped them out long ago..
and from my experience of fundamentalist american christians.. their anti semitism out weighs anything.
is either side perfect? no.. the problem is in every news outlet and out of everyones uneducated mouth.. they try to portray the issues in gaza and what not as relateable to something like the nazi holocaust. its nothing at all like that
its really israel vs iran, syria, jordan, lebanon and the people of gaza are being used |

A couple of things:
1. Egypt has formally made peace with Israel.
2. Jordan is quite at Peace with Israel, The former King of Jordan, Hussein, gave an emotional Eulogy at the funeral of Yitzak Rabin the ISRAELI PM who was assassinated by an ISREALI!!
3. Turkey is at peace with Israel. The armies train together, and the two countries are economincally very intertwined.
4. Syria is a SECULAR STATE! they will make peace with Israel if Israel ever returns the Golan Heights much like the Jordanians and Egyptians.
5. Saudi Arabia while formally not at Peace w Israel engages with them diplomatically and is an ally of the USA ... and will do as we bid.
6. The new Iraqi governemnt has been and will be far less hostile to Israel than Saddam.
Hezbollah is a Shiite movement based in Southern Lebanon and is an Iranian Proxy.
Iran is 95% Shiite. Hamas and almost all Palestinians are Sunni with no love for IRAN, although they like to take their arms and money.
The real problem is IRAN. if you didn't watch the news last Summer you missed massive riots in IRAN by the people who are fed up w theocracy. So the real problem is the IRANIAN GOVT. which is holding on against a vast majority of people (the iranian people dont give a damn about the Palestinians) and is the only supporter of Hezbollah and Hamas.
Peace with Israel is a lot easier to attain that you think ... there only a few radical religious agents (Christian jew and Muslim) on all sides that keep poisoning the well.

yes i saw what happened last summer in disgust.. i made a huge rant about it in the last islamic debate a few months back. and this post earlier today ^
but yes you are correct about the rest of your post aswell. although i think things are a little more rocky with turkey then you put it, especially after the flotilla incident.
and yes egypt and israel have been allies for a while, but egypt opening their blockades showed that nothing is for certain
