Ok so I can see why many of you here may not be too impressed but that's because  this arena FPS resembles Quake and Painkiller much more so then it does any UT game. Movement is focused solely on bunny hopping, a technique used in the older Quake games and PK. 




Yea there's some issues with balance and mutators but the devs are on top of it and are really looking forward to releasing DLC soon which includes a duel mode.  They already patched a weapon just last night cause of the amount of feedback received from us(the players) 

For $10 its worth it.

after even more play, i like it
biggest problem for me is i still can hardly tell if im hitting someone or not, hard to tell in the middle of a fight

i agree that the matches should be alot more customizable for setup.  i think the mutators are kinda cool n actually flow with the game but its hard to tell whats going on and with so many what they do ect.... i kept thinking it was lag or something but they had a medic mutator n strength so they wouldnt die n were killing with 1 shot.

The shotgun patch from last night was good and im glad to see them sticking with the game and making fixes. I saw the stuff they are fixing in the title update that is suppose to come out soon. Things are looking good.

no point in having a shot gun if it takes 100 shots to kill
just spawn with that weak ass gun that no one uses, makes more sense

Guns are good, speed is not what I expected it to be, but its ok I guess.
Matchmaking is horrible. Seems like ppl cant join when a game is going while there is still room cuz ppl raged??
I played CTF vs FaZeD earlier.. and at some point.. his team raged..
Leaving him the only one in his team -_-
Same thing with me.. 4v4 TDM FaZeD vs me. My team raged. and it was his team 4v1 me -_-
Nobody joined during the match smh.

I honestly had no issue with gameplay,weapons, and maps. None of that ****. I mean something's were lamer than others. All these people whining about this and that. Just play the game. You'll really cry everyday about the same thing. Just get over it. Only problem i hated was the lobby,party system and the constant getting frozen/kicked out. 
 
day two they made the shotgun the most terrible weapon on the game when yesterday people was doing damage. Now the issue comes in because you spawn with that terrible gun. Your scrambling looking for a weapon because the shotgun does NOTHING anymore. 100 shots ain't enough. Getting spawn killed because i can't get a gun. Game was perfect. Stop b****ing and just adapt.
 
Now some people b****ing about rockets.
splash damage on the rocket was already the biggest thing ever but now it's unstoppable because the shotgun is ****. You could easily counter the roxkets with shotgun shots. Shotgun was strong,fast, and had range. Now it just has range and speed for nothing. Shoots blanks. Only way to counter the rockets now is another rocket, melee, if you got aim than the nex.
 
I could easily put in hours into the game. It was funner day one. Day two became stressful. We'll see how things go day 3.

hmmm. Glad to hear this game might be worth playing after all. Obviously it sounds like there's quite a few issues with weapon balance and general launch day server problems but it seems like the devs are working to sort it out. 

Trying to put a positive spin on not being able to play it for myself,  I guess by the time it's released on PSN a lot of the kinks will have been ironed out, the gameplay should be better balanced and there may even be a few more features like the duel mode there working on : /

check yourself next time jeez lol, I agree with you tho no matter how many times u post.... to sum it up in my words, kids these days are spoiled, when a game was released in my (our) day there were no patches or dlc, that was it, enjoy it or find something else to do. I remember getting a super ninendo and was blown away by how awesome the graphics were compared to my NES that I constantly had to clean with alcohol and cotton swabs to keep it running, super NES was almost realistic to me, then played final fantasy 7 4 years later on ps1 and about sh1t myself, was convinced that it couldn't be topped lol

Point being we all adapted to different games and didn't compare them to others while expecting better, just like ppl are trying to compare this to ut3 or qaa when they should see it as its own unique arena shooter... sure it may have some bugs but deal with it, at least its a new title

Shotgun is fine. Since when was the starting weapon in a competitive fps arena a dominant weapon? The shotgun nerf is just fine, and it isn't to the point where the gun is irrelevant either. I have no difficulty with it as your strategy with the gun needs to change, and some of you haven't done that yet. You'll figure out what I mean once you understand the details of the nerf.

things do change  (;

if the acceptance of things never changed, nothing would be different

also people have every right to complain about the game and it's flaws or whatever......especially with how much a "gamer" spends on games/consoles/accesories....not to mention bull**** DLC that could've easily came with the original game....or bull**** subscriptions that do nothing like cod elite


edit: i'll probably try sh­it-uiz again after a break or if/when they fix guns or something

You people know that they are an independent company with a limited budget, right? In the Q&A with the developers they did say that their budget wasn't big enough to include all the features that games like ut3 have (matchmaking options, different modes, more maps, etc). That's why they are going to release DLC like the duel mode Lex mentioned. I haven't played the game obviously but I'll give it a try when it comes out for ps3
