I'm also on the east coast (South Carolina). I've had massive ping spikes like that a few times on the server, but they only lasted a couple minutes and then went back to normal. Usually, it's fine and I ping around 80 to it.

yea zellot, phant, and i was playing today in dat server and it was laggy as flack dragon's host.

idk if its just me or my internet but all the servers have 280^^ before i enter them. anyway i can fix this? n plz dont tell me to get better internet(TX) ca im cheep

the problem most likely is how your ISP is routing the connection. my ISP routes my connection up to Kansas and back even though both the server and I are in the Dallas area. there are 14 "hops" between my ps3 and my server. when i had the MG server in Atlanta there were 21 "hops". the more hops the more of a chance of package "info" loss. i'm sure someone else can better explain the situation.

we get lag spikes in MAG and KZ3 also. must be a dedicated server issue.

Living in the state of Maine , I too have skipping lag . I'm still thankful for Bain giving us this server with the extra maps . Thanks Bain !!

this is my fav server out of all that are currently available. still pings at 200-300 from asia but seems to lag less than other servers when actually connected to it. love it, just wish it would have both warfare/vctf :)
