Powerups in duel

well.. this is just what ive got to say... i agree with drokun.. think about it.. ok so if 1 guy picks up the SB, 1 guy picks up Udamage for a "counterbalance" it will take 2 secs to get the SB off of him.. then your left with 28 secs left. and the other guy dont have anything.. so then you have the advantage for over 20 secs.. in that time u can spawn kill.. and spawn killing is annoying but with u damage it would be worse.. 2 or 3 extra undeserved kills. a udamage or beserk etc cant be called a counter balance because it it much more of an advantage than a shield belt. even if some guy has 199 health and 200 armour.. thats just 2 flak balls with a Udamage. and as drokun said.. it ruins the strategy and map control element of the game. apart from that you shouldnt be letting them get all of that. you should be fighting for the same armour,sb that the other player is... if they get it. its your fault.....   if they have more arnour than u then u just gotta be skilled enough to hit him one extra time with a rccket,flak ball,shock combo whatever while dodging his shots. and still should have gained some extra health,armour for yourself anyway. shouldnt be too hard.. but beating someone with a UD/beserk etc will be much more of a challenge than someone with a sb.... for example. if a real good dueller (a) plays someone not as good (b)..   if B picks up the sb all the time... A would still win and the sb wouldnt of made a difference for B.. however if B constantly picked up UD.. theres more chance of that guy winning or comming close at least..

Before I put my two cents in let me say that I would never pick up the redeemer, berserk, etc. in a duel..... however just for argument's sake :    You duelers are always going on about map control, how is it still not BETTER map control if you are able to get these super pickups before your opponent ?  If you fight for control of all the other things (shield belt and so forth), isn't it the same thing?  You say ..."if they get it. its your fault"....  well, if you allow them to pick up the udamage and berzerk it's still your fault and shows that the guy you are fighting has better map control than you.

drokun, do any of these guys duel? or are they just complaining about nothing?

Still, it would be interesting to see a match between two duelers who are pretty much equal using the udamage, berzerk, etc.  Say, for instance,  the two fellows who came in 1st and 2nd in the recent duel tournament. 

I think PaWwEeZy sold his Ps3, and also they would totally not see the point in it.
All you get to see is that whoever gets the udamage is likely to steal all map control back and get a few frags in 30 seconds, then the other guy takes back map control at the next udamage..

The only reason they're still on the maps in duel is that UTComp has never been cooked for Ps3 in any form.

vCTF gives you the tank, it would only be 'using' it when placing it on the flag :/
It's in the game for a reason right.
Same for going titan in the spawns on some maps, why else is it in the game? :/

Not that I'm planning to do any of these things as they're gay, just saying that not everything in the game should be used
