yes....waiting for Brett to choke as usual.  oh man i can't wait for it

Are you being sarcastic? That champ shines in 4th quarter and OT situations. Not like there will be much pressure to choke under when you have Adrian Peterson running for you. So dynamic. Laterally quick and nimble yet heavy and strong enough to steam roll. Locker room confidence may have been low heading into the season but a couple W's can do funny things.

Yeah, Buffalo snatched defeat from the mouth of victory once again. I also don't believe in that "moral victory" horsesh1t. Buffalo lost. I also don't like the "we'll learn from it" crap either. The only thing we learned is that the Pats know how to win and Buffalo does not. The Pats/Steelers/Titans are still the teams to beat in the AFC.

No apology necessary, you're speaking the truth. Buffalo doesn't have one single starter from last year, they start two rookies and the elder statesman on the line has a whopping 4 years in the league. The Pats are winners and reminded us of that.

You can't ever count out the Pats. They are disciplined, well coached and stacked with talent. You can't count out the Vikes either. They won the division last year and got better at QB. If they lose, it will be because Favre goes gun-slinger on them when he should be using his experience to manage the game. Like DOD said, give the rock to Petersen and just watch him run.

Pats lost their startin middle linebacker in the beginning of the game...Jerod Mayo is gonna be a beast....If he's out for awhile it's gonna be a race between Bears & Pats too see who signs Derrick Brooks first who was cut last year by the Buccs.

I'm not so sure about that...Did you see the Bears & Packers game lastnight?  Tak about lack of pa$$  protection...I Didnt think the Bills offensive line did that bad....They have 2 rookies startin i think...If i was the Bills i'd be more worried about T.O. blowin up cuz he didnt get the rock enough.

Buffalo has had many choke jobs between their last Super Bowl and last night.
If the Raiders win 3 games this year, I would be suprised.

I wanna say he's like 34 or 35...He just came off a Pro-Bowl type season last year....I mean who else is out there too sign other then him & Zach Thomas?  I'd rather have Brooks ina heartbeat cuz he played under Lovie Smith & their new defensive line coach in Tampa Bay...He's familar with the system & he's a definate upgrade over HUNTER HILENMEYER LOL....Bears also lost their outside startin linebacker from anywhere from 3 - 6 weeks (Pisa) with a sprained knee...

That was not too much of a shocker. Didn't Wash upset them before, only a couple of years ago? I was glad though because it helps settle out the arguements about who should be #1.
In other news. . . I watched the entire Notre Dame game today and I am not impressed with them. Their offense is good but, their defense is going to cost them another game or two. 20 penalties in two games doesn't help either.
I'm watching the Texas/Texas Tech game now and see two defences that are so damn fast! Notre Dame will be lucky if they win 9 games this year.

Lol at USC losing to Washington as well.

http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recap?gid=200909190065

USC (2-1, 0-1 Pac-10) was nearly a three-touchdown favorite. Washington (2-1, 1-0) came in riding a 10-game losing streak in Pac-10 games and had broken a 15-game overall skid last week against Idaho.

I love it when things like this happen, especially after fans (I'm taking it that the Ohio state thread was meant to be a fan thread.  Sorry if it was actually meant to be more of a jab at the Buckeyes.) are bragging the week before.  Naw, but seriously, you got to love those upsets.

“Clearly, we have superior athletes. But hard work beats athleticism every time. That’s what happened today.”

You got to hand it to them though.  It wasn't necessarily skill that prevailed, but hard work.

I wish that actually would happen (for me) in UT3 every now and then.

In other news, ugh.. Purdue sucks this year.  Even IU's looking better atm, even though they're usually the lesser of the two, when it comes to football.  I'm pretty sure that Notre Dame's got at least one win in their future, Purdue.  I'm used to them being the one of the better Indiana colleges, whenever it comes to football and IU being one of the better ones in Basketball, but right now, I think IU might be the better one.

Cutlers been impressive all game. Great ball Distribution. Bears receivers are actually holding on to the ball and I think Cutler just found his favorite new wide receiver .... KNOX.

Bears Defense needs to stop giving up the big plays.

14-14 with 6 mins ....  this is going to be good
