could someone tell me what they've "improved"
i think the bubbles around the friends list names is ugly. i'm not sure what having the psn store links in more menus helps. the what's new link has some potential. is the copy and paste feature on messages new? that's cool. it seems like you can choose a friend and it will pull up all the messages just between the two of you. is that new? also cool. |

1. I agree about the first 3 points 2. Copy and pasting messages I think is new, but we've had copy/paste for a while now. 3. Since day 1 we could pull up messages between just yourself and one other. 4. This update seems to be mainly a few aesthetic chages, like I just noticed the loading symbol on the web browser has changed, rather pointlessly I might add. |

There is an option to turn it off, but nothing happens when you turn it off. Every forum is posting the same type of experience regarding the scrolling news bar.

Wow, I hate it - the big font, the glittery sparkly background that I can't imagine would impress anyone under the age of 5 and that isn't a girl. The friends list grey boxes... eugh! Maybe it takes getting used to.

Just installed this before. Like the Iplayer but thats about it. Don't like the way the friends list looks and hate that the scrolling news bar is still there.

agreed. it looks horrible! and if even i don't like the glittery background and think its tacky (ultimate girly girl and lover of all things pink and sparkly) they must be aiming it at 5 year old girls who still have barbies!
