I guess your right cuz God of War was invented first and they use GOW for abbreviation. When Gears of War came out in 2006, they sweating God of War's abbreviation (in my opinion).

Gears= GoW God= GOW! God of War 1 and 2 sucked, the psp counterpart Chains of Olympus was actually fun, prolly cuz its on a handheld, dont really like button mashers on my console! As far as best game of 2010, not even close!

Please, God of War 1 won Game of the Year in 2005. God of War 2 lived up to the hype and surpass God of War 1 with extraordinary epic battles.
The only one game (and I mean the only one game) will come close to God of War 3 in 2010 is Final Fantasy 13. No other games has a perfect storylines, phenomenal graphics, built up extraordinary climaxs and have there own unique game style like those two (God of War 3 & Final Fantasy 13).

online mode? not sure there is one! But if there is an online mode for GOW 3, it will be very linear, only one path to your next destination, and basically hit Square, Circle, Triangle and X alot of times and hope things die!

Today, I played the God Of War 3 E3 Demo and I must say this game is too sick! It have new moves, new combos and outstanding graphics (better than Killzone 2 in my opinion).
