Not to be a Debbie Downer... I don't remember there ever being a successful Warfare tourney, too many people to rely on. Either lower the number of people on a team or stick with foot modes and you might have a chance at this thing...IMO.

also.. CS.. most of the regular Warfare people have jobs that they attend during the day... hence why this thread is full of either school kids or the unemployed  Smile

The past two tournaments have been successful or at least they were finished. Considering that most of the players are participating in this one again, makes it more credible. And plus it's SUMMER, the schedules should open up more.

I work 40 hours a week and have never stopped for 8 years. so I'm not one of those people.

i see a few things wrong with this set up but i'll ask the most obvious question.....as far as a bracket shouldn't it be 8 teams? there are other set backs with this but i figure i'd start here

I was thinking the same thing but I thought that it would be even harder to have 40 players sign up for a warfare tournament. And the best two (by voting(or randomly choosing two teams)) gets a bye in the first round of the bracket (also double-elimination) . Just my opinion

floodgate is a good map, but it can take a long time to play it so i don't think it would be a very good map for a tourney... that map can go on forever

The whole set up was Phantaci's idea. I didn't want to do it this way.
