As someone previously said, Penguin I think I think it was, Fallout 3 was great. So was the first Resistance, RDR as well. Elder Scrolls and Demon/Dark Souls were great RPG's, but their storylines weren't that appealing I thought. What they lack in storyline, they make up in concept, gameplay, and overall quality. Fantasy games are hard to take seriously, but that doesn't mean they can't kick a$$. Oh yeah, i almost forgot Dead Space and the sequel. Great games!

i just read all of that... and i have to agree with seph... even the worst FF has a better story than anything rockstar games has created... and even the OK ones has better storylines that most other games on the ps3... Becasue alot of the focus in FF is the story... also when seph said FF has better storyline to RDR... jp, why was your comeback to that about how a guy attacks in the game? that has nothing to do with the story lol

Oh, so here I thought the ball was symbolic in some ways because he uses it in that sport.. so the creators of FF 10 decided to not think of any object for Wokka to use to kill these creatures besides a round...ball. I thought it did have something to do with the story, because of the sport that they play. If I'm wrong.. that's pretty freakin random. My whole point in all of this was I thought it quite dumb that Seph was judging a game that he only READ about.. not actually played or have seen I know he's a FF fan boy so anything negative said about that game.. he'll jump on but to just come out and say "Nope.. RDR sucks.. FF is 10x better" wasn't smart. I'm not a big RPG game, and I know that makes me a little biased but I pretty much sat through the entire game of FF 10 watching my brother.. so at least I gave FF a chance.. unlike Seph. His reasons to why he dislikes RDR are pretty ridiculous when he doesn't know anything about it. |

lol yeah he uises the ball as a weapon cos he plays the sport, but thats it lol... pretty mucyh nothing to do with the overall story. But yeah it is stupid to judge a game by reading about it, but its not stupid to juudge a game's stpry by reading the plotline, and thats what he was doing, judging the story not the game lol... but i just thought it was a bit silly how you bring in a character's weapon of choice, and thats it, into a debate about the story lol
