Does anyone have this or plan on getting it? I'm probably going to get it soon. It looks amazing and the online is suppose to be perfect for a fighting game

My brother got it yesterday.

Here is my review. Completly opinion based:

- The story mode is garbage
- The fighting is cool and some attacks are pretty epic, but it seems too slow.. :/ which will lead to throwing this game in closet after having raged enough by online spam. Mortal Kombat was more fun because it was more faster fighting. Just like the Street Fighter series

- The combo system could have been WAY more refined. It only shows the commands made by Soulcalibur A - B - K. They should have used the Controller buttons. It would have been way easier to remember and master any combo's.
- Online is not so good as I thought it would be.. There is a London server that is always a 100% filled with button bashers and people spamming each other in the chatbox. I crushed 5 guys far and square and all they did was button bash the **** outta me and using the same combo over and over. It takes too long to find a match. If you dont have a 100MBit line, prepare for some epic connection losses due to excessive flooding from servers which can even go up to 500 people in one server. Epic spam.
 
+ Graphics have improved. Levels are not distracting.
+ Blocking has improved. What used to be some kind of buffer failure when blocking a attack 1 SECOND BEFORE IT IS EXECUTED by an opponent has been fixed..
+ More epicly characters, like Ezio from the Assassins creed series, and an epic pirate called Servantes. Lol, he is a boss.
 
Overall rating: a crappy 6. I expecting a bit more from this game..

You can debate all you want but Dr. Doom in UMvC3 is the funnest fighting character to use in all the new games.

Well clearly you have never played a fighting game if you are complaining about button mashing :/. That is a given for any fighting game. Button mashers tend to die off after they claim the game is too slow or get tired of losing to button mashers XD. It's the truth. About the game being "slow" that's just because you haven't played the game long enough to figure everything out lol. It's not a game you can pick up and master in like 3 days..... Online issues are not perfect but they are surely not as bad as you say but I forgot that you're EU so that explains it XD.


SF X Tekken is going to be bad ass.

after watching SF x Tekken
it just looks like it's SF models with Tekken skins and SF gameplay. blah

i forgot how much better tekken looked for some reason. will prob get tekken tag tournament 2 whenever that comes

also I jizzed my pantaloons when I saw DoA5 coming at the end of 2012   >.O!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes the game does have tekken's juggle system somewhat, but the tag in system is quite fun, Rolento looks sick in this game. DOA volleyball > DOA 5 XD still cant believe they made that game, its like they said "f*** it we know you pick the female characters to judge how well our tit rendering skills are in video games, now go to town"

I preferred Kasumi and Jann Lee since they were faster  o:  
I've used Kasumi since DoA on ps1

Well, I mastered King, every move, combo, chain throws...except I only learned one 10 hitter.  I know pretty much every combo for Kazuya, I have a 95% chance of hitting EWGF facing right, and a I'd say 75 % chance facing left,,,,with a controller.   Never touched Bob, if you need anecdotal evidence of my King raping...ask Kal1.
