Usually after a few months of new big releases....some players start playing UT3 again. guessin just get bored of the new games. dead for now..will probably be moderate again in a couple of months

It might go comatose for awhile, but some will come back. BTW.. after actually getting and playing MAG, I swear I'm never getting another "realiist"/ military shooter. Whether they have hundreds of thousands (possibly millions) of players or a hundred, militrary shooters can't hold my interest for long. I find that the core gameplay gets old/ repetitive real fast. As dead UT3 is or will be in the coming months, it's still the more interesting game.

I think mw2 killed it really, people did go back to ut3 a bit but must only be a few people playing it now. Was a great game though.

Ultimately, it's up to Epic if they want to take the EA route and cut the online for UT3. In spite of the million other shooters on the market, they still keep UT alive which is pretty cool.

Just because its set up the same doesn't mean it plays the same zellynoob.
Take Battlefield 3 and MW3. Set up the same. you do the same sh1t, but two completely different games in my opinion.

With me, these COD cloned type games all have the same annoying features that I can't stand.
Getting killed within two hits of any weapon with no time for reaction and not enough indication of where they are shooting from. I've seen many youtube videos and the kill which annoys me the most is when someone throws a tomahawk or ax, it flies into the air, bounces off the ground then hits some guys ankle, bam.. dead... are you kidding me? How is that realistic? High amounts of camping, which makes sense to why all the UT3 VCTF/CTF players play COD (haha jk jk...sorta) How unbalanced it can be with all these insane modifications that can be added to each high leveled up player, that may work for you guys as an incentive to level up faster but I find it sort of unfair, but I guess UT3 ruined that for me. |

JP...try BF3, u might like the open conquest maps with all sorts of vehicles. dont like a camper? a tank shell to the wall hes hiding behind will solve that, taking out the wall & most likely the guy. or u can bring the entire building down on him.
its up to u but u might prefer a more realistic war game |

Lol so getting killed by an ax with a shot to the leg isn't realistic but you dont think you should die in just two hits? Most guns will kill a person with one shot. Thats realism. Gotta remember a little bit that the COD series is more Arcade style. Fun factor is its priority not realism. Thats what seperates BF3 and MW3. Both the same type, but ones realism and the other is Arcade. Everything else you could care about it most likely takes place in UT3 as well. So you say they are all the same and theres no sense in buying all of them. I say they provide i different type of realism that YOU HAVE TO PLAY THEM TO FIGURE OUT. Shouldn't judge a game off what you seen on youtube. Besides, when UT4 drops it will be the same as UT3, no one can argue that fact, but everyone will buy it. Isn't that like buying all the CoD games?

seph the only uts that were alike are 2k3 and 2k4. each installment changes quite a bit unlike CoD lol. so I doubt ut4 will be like ut3.

I could never go pro on CoD unless I had fios. The main difference between that game and this. There ping is a MUST. Everyone has the same health and you die pretty quickly. So your upload speed needs to be legit haha.
