you should sign up for the tourny. i know this is like the 5th time we've tried a ctf tourny but if it works it would be fun. i know the game bores you now :P but why pass up a chance to be team captain and coach the B-D list players XD

@ kupcake: In the tdm league some captains who didn't check iAM didn't inform their team, and they forfeited several matches. Veda could send important stuff to the captains on PSN I guess though.
I'd say that within the 8 most voted players in CTF, BuMrUsH for example would be one of the better CTF players as well as one of the better Deathmatch players. Maybe the person with 8th most votes gets first pick, then 7th etc?
yeah i just thought the dm was just to get a picking order but i like the most vote idea as well.  all in all its not up to me just throwing that out there.  also i said 8 or w/e just assumed it would be teams of 5 so there is subs.  i think veda seen what happens when they dont have a extra "sub" lol and have to rely on everyone to be there, i think we all know that having 40 people in the tourny-- you can almost say for sure that someone will not be reliable or unable to make it at some point.

What I meant was that the best CTF player could get 1st pick by doing picking order by DM. If you care so much about killing competition, you might as well even it everywhere.

Edit: Oh, just remembered Incinerator was pretty fun too.

Agreed x 3.. Captains are going to be picked from the most dominant players. Deathmatch would be perfect for determining the picks.
 
Custom maps are going to be: Spoondog, Cardinal, Incinerator-LE, Bhutan, Ranel, and Sinkhole (very underated map.)  1 custom map in each round of play.  Ill post the links on the first page and add them to FTW server so that everyone can get a feel for them.

War actually had a solid idea. Give the first picks to the ....s hit, how do I say this without pissing people off....folks that are on the bottom of that "Beast" list. Players like bum, phan, veda, and penguin should get last picks. BTW, Cardinal is se xy

Si, 8 teams with 5 players.. If we have over 40 lets say for example: 45 players.. we'll have an extra captain. Captains will have to manage their teams so that everyone gets a chance to play.

40 players is a bit overkill for this game/mode, i think thats asking for a little much, 6 teams should be tops in my opinion,
with Substitutes, because they are almost certain to be needed

Or you'd do a league of 3 teams per group and then the top 2 advance into a single elimination thing..
Top ranked league 1 vs 2nd rank league 2 and vice versa, after which finals. That way you'd get to play 5 matches and all of the named custom maps..
It's a roundabout way to do this :P.

Just look @ how many teams there are I guess.

this is a good idea as well, like what drokun said after all the fragging is done some like bum/phan probably win DM so there for he would get another top pick, wars way is a pretty good idea to keep a over all balance going. 
i like the communs action on this.  i think i will msg veda an tell him i will help put in for some prize on this as well.
