Dear Fellow UT3 Games,
I have a few questions. Does UT3 support ps3 and pc cross platforming. Do people still play UT3 online. The reason I am asking this is because I am planning to but UT3 from Amazon because it is cheap at the moment. Thank you, Saad Malik Fellow Gamer

the game is pretty much dead but there are good games in a given mode each day, but since it is so cheap you should buy it, wouldn't hurt anything xD it's a great game

No sorry. It's possible to host a Dedicated Server Host from PC and let people play on that from out PS3. But people who play on PC cannot play with PS3 related players. But its a fun competitive game with some good players on here. Get the game, and we'll welcome u on that!

This game's not like some other online shooters. It takes actual skill and experience so it will take a while to get better at it, if you have others helping you by showing you things it will get easier.
The game's not really dead, it's not very populated though.
But it's definately worth it.

Sorry man I have to say the problem is that perception that most people play only one mode. What u say isn't true. Everyone has a preference and maybe because not many play it seems like no one is playing CTF or TDM or WF and everyone is sticking to vCTF (even when its sh1tty titan). I really dont know anyone on my friends list who plays only ONE mode but I can think of 1-2 at best who hardly deviate from their main mode. The rest is true I agree tho and u need to play TDM and DM first to find ur feet because its a steep learning curve but imo its the best video game of the 90s,00s and 10s too. Play them all, learn it all and kill 'em all! Have fun!

lol we had two nights of full good warfare recently and the majority of the people playing.. only play warfare, so its not just VCTF like you think. While I agree with you that everyone has a preference, I spent my money on this game to do what I enjoy, which is Warfare.. every other mode sucks IMO and I'm happy that I stick with 1 mode, could give two ****s about what War thinks or anyone else for that matter. I appreciate the good comments on this thread and must also agree that UT3 is dead as for clan activity and some modes but the game is still active!! I can get a full Warfare game on any night of the week and fill it up with GOOD players... all anyone has to do is ask. But more importantly we welcome anyone who picks up this game in the Wal-Mart 5$ Bin! |

The game is great and can definitely be found cheaper on other sites. The skill gap compared to other shooters like Call of Duty is much larger and definitely takes some practice and experience. The more you play with better players however and catch on to the knit picky stuff, the better you will become. Plus you can play custom content on the ps3 and play custom maps. I am currently creating custom maps for the PS3 users so they do not have to play the same maps over and over. It's a good community to be involved with and a good group of die hard fans to join with. Do not pass it up. Plus, I could always show you the ropes on what you need to know and how to become a better player. It would be helpful for sure. |

You only got a massacre by not playing.. all you did was camp by the tank node, grabbed your jump boots, grabbed the armor vest and sniped and avirled people that were actually trying to play so they were easy targets, might I add it took you almost damn 20 minutes to get it lol I could do that and I suck at killing people hahaha!!  Our team lacked communication but it was still good matches last night. Plus I think everyone hates me now because I spent most of the time yelling at shiny devil in floodgate. |
