so far only thing i notice that may be a problem is the flag room seems a bit small.
For smaller games, it should not be a prob, but if its on public servers, camping will be a pain in the ass. Looking good tho, keep up the good work

*Update*
Ok guys and gals. Here is the latest update with some newly added screenshots. Like I said earlier, I finished the structure of the map and now have begun to fill it in. Please be advised that this is still in the early stages and what you see is not final I can promise you that. I pretty much so far have been working mostly on the flag room as you can tell from the screenshots. The middle area will have a bit of more obstacles to fill up the huge space as well. Since the use of jump boots regulated the pace of CTF-SpoonDog, I figured they would do the same here. If you wanted to just run the flag with three simple jumps with the boots you could, that is if you grabbed the flag and then grabbed the boots. This time around you will need to use all three jumps in order to get back to your flag. There will be three ways in to the base. Front entrance, side entrance, and upper entrance. Three routes to defend and three routes to choose. Like I said this should be an interesting map and as the weekend goes by and next week comes around, we should start to see this all coming together and hopefully be ready to playtest it. Stick around and do not be expecting to see alot from these screenshots lol because it's way to early and I'm no pro at this. :) Also I do apologize if these screenshots are enormous. :) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I'm just going to create a new topic for the sole purpose of updating my progress on this map and letting you all know what has been added since the last update. Last time I spoke about this map in the other thread, I mentioned that I was about 3/4'ths of the way finishing just the outline and structure of the map as a whole.
I recently just finished the structure this morning and will be putting all the necessary pickups where they need to go. I'll do that first and then go back and worry about textures and the overall look of the map. I can give you a brief description of the environment you will be playing in though. K-Lined pits you in a run down facility that has been over run by mother nature. Grass has overcome the facility, it's falling apart, the roof is basically obsolete exposing the overcast of what seems a neverending day. I have high expectations on this map delivering the same fast paced action that my other map SpoonDog created. I feel as though play testing on this map could begin not this weekend but next weekend. I hope you all stick around until then. Below is the list of players who have signed up to act as play testers for CTF-K-Lined. I hope to have some screenshots of the map in my next update.
