is anyone getting this? was fine about 10 mins ago, i went to switch account and i cant sign in anymore, on any account... anyone know why this is.... maintenance maybe...?

yeah i know and saw a headline about that somehwere a few days ago online... also the last time there was maintenance there was a different error code to this one.. thats why i wasnt sure...

i havent read to much into the hackers stuff but ive just read on the playstation blog and someone posted that the anonymous hackers di threaten to bring down ps store/ psn.... well looked like they kept to their promise -_-

PSN is starting to annoy me, 2 diff service agreements, constant error's making online play impossible.
i mean i know its free and XBL cost money, but damn, they need to srsly step it up! (playstation plus sucks, lol )

i thought it was either my internet or wireless connection messing up on me and then i tried going onto the internet with my laptop and it was fine, so i figured it was a playstation network maintenance thing ... then my sis told me about an hr ago that some ppl are hacking or messing with sony ... grrrr ... annoying |

They are a group of people who are f***ing with Sony because of the litigation imvolving two jailbreakers of the sony ps3. They believe the jailbreakers did nothing wrong and do not deserve to be in court, either that or they got bored waiting for GTA 5.

the reason they are attaxcking sony is because of the legal actions that were taken agains "geoHOT".. the hacker who jailbroke the ps3.... the reason for the attack on sony is because that he had never made a psn online account so therefore he never agreed to the terms and conditions of being online as he never made an account.. basically he was being sued for a agreement he never made.. thats what this has all been about in the eyes of anonymous... also because of geohots actions sony had paypal to give them info such as ip adresses on all the people that visited the forum sites and social messages sites that was linked to geoHOT.... therefore exposing thousands of innocent people's information. This is not the only attack that annonymous has carried out.. they carry out attacks on various cmpanies websites or even small websites when they feel that those companies had done something wrong and they deserve to be payed back... Anonymous grow in numbers as anyone can contribute and take part to the groiups actions... all they have to do is give up their pc's to the hacker groups.. just by giving their consent the hackers can use a persons computer to send traffic to the various websites in order to shut them down....

They have "Ddos" playstation strore yeasterday... They always do "ddos" for hacking. I'm not sure if it is possible to DDOS the PSN... Maybe Aqua would know.

Why do I have a feeling that if "Anonymous" keeps doing this, everyone else will end up suffering the consequences.
I'm not saying what they are doing is wrong, but they must have balls to mess with a billion dollar company like Sony. Good to know though that some people are trying to speak for the consumers. |

In theory all he did was jailbreak. He never gave consent and signed away his rights. Look at it another way, if you installed linux on the ps3 , it was not illegal. What geo did is the same thing, only his program allows the ps3 to include pirated software. Pirated software he DID NOT promote.
