@HH ok....i think the problem with the xmb comes because everything is running on harddrive. the reading speed from the harddrive is to slow....i think its 5600 rounds per minute
@inferno: i think crafty is running his server from home.....so when 16 people are on the server we all got a ping over 200 without tripox....he is from mexico,he got a ping over 10000000000000! so when u shoot u can go in the kitchen....drink a coffee...smoke a jeffrey....and when u are back on ur ps3 the bullet comes out. we can try it but i don´t know if its working ! |

Hey Style, The Slow XMB Issue your having should only happen within the 1st 5minz since your PS3 is loading all the data for your Game at once. After that it should be Fast, I Recently Upgraded my Hard Drive & Don't have the Slow XMB Issue since it loads everything up much Faster then the Stock PS3 Hard Drive  |

yo HH everthing is working fine.....BO is loading much faster.....also ut3 starts really fast....but when u play games from the harddrive and try to look at the xmb its slow...but doesent matter!

New Custom Firmware has been Released which lets you finally Install your games & run them from your Hard Drive & Also lets you install Custom Applications like Geohots CFW. I've Noticed a Performance boost on Games like Black Ops & faster loading times on NFS When installed to the Hard Drive

Not all games work from the hard drive just now, i managed to get black ops working from the hard drive with a patch but its not worth the hassle. Better off waiting for a new Jailbreak firmware that allows Running games from the Hard Drive.
