8 more weeks is a lot of time and a lot of games. Anyone at this point is still able to comeback or fall on their face. Yes even JP could still win. With the way this season has been all you need to do is start picking some of the upsets and ur right back in it. If HOU would have won last night i would have caught up by 3 games in one week. But they didn't so i only caught up by one game, but those are the chances you have to take sometimes. Good job to everyone so far.

Moss wasn't doing much anyway with us, is half ass hearted attempts apparently is ok to do if you're making millions. Plus Vikes are going downhill with or without him, unless we start winning the next 6 games then we may be on the chase to the playoffs but I highly doubt that. Even if we did, like most of our Minnesota teams, we always seem to screw it up in the playoffs.
What I still don't understand is a state known for Hockey, and the history we have for Hockey, how we can screw up producing a winning team here. That was my complaint of the day. |

I taking it the final nail is in the coffin for the Cowboys' and Vikings' playoff hopes or is about to be. Denver's playoff hopes look pretty grim as well. If they took such a brutal beating at home from Oakland, how well will they do IN Oakland? Hell, I think the only reason it wasn't 60+ (or even 70+) to 14 (or less) was because Oakland stopped trying in the fourth quarter. It's still pretty odd to see Denver at the bottom of the AFC West. I can see them in second or third, but not dead last. There's still half a season to go, but I don't think things are going to get much better for them.

It's like the AFC has been flipped on it's head. Kansas City and Oakland seem to be the two dominate AFC West teams this year, with San Diego and Denver as the bottom half. Anyhow, I just hope my Colts live up to my pick tonight, both so I can have a winning record for the week and so they can taking a step towards winning our division.

I wish i would have known Troy Smith was the back up in SF. I prob would have picked them then. While he doesn't have much experience he can make all the throws and can make plays with his feet. If Alex Smith doesn't play well when he comes back be ready for Troy to take over for good. And i will say Oak has finally got my attention and made me a believer. I really did not think they were all that good. I thought they had a couple lucky games. After seeing what they were able to do against a pretty good SEA defense i'm convinced they will put up a good fight with even the best of teams in the league. I will have to choose my picks a little more wisely for their games now.

Never against Manning? More like never go against Manning when the game is at our house, unless it's towards the end of the season and we got that **** (home-field/ first round bye) on lock. For some reason, we tend to stop trying once we know we have the #1 or 2 spot and not just the last game of the season either. In recent years, there hasn't been many teams that can go into our house and win. It's the road games where we tend to stumble, such as in Houston, Jacksonville, New England, or Tennessee. Yeah, we tend to sometimes have road game troubles at our division rivals and our arch-nemesis (New England), along with the occasional stumble elsewhere. |

Yea i was not goin to pick HOU for the soul fact I made a rule to never go against Manning. I did once this year and lost so after that i said i wouldn't but for some reason i am this week. I'm i'll kick myself in the ass later for not following my own advice but o well. Plus Manning is great with one week of prep. and for this game hes got 2 weeks of prep. But being down 10 games to the leader i got to try and call some of these upsets. Even tho if HOU does win i really don't think its an upset. Plus i finally got to say so ur all on the Colts like Chris Berman does. I love watching him and the gang on sundays. WHOOP. And sorry i didnt see that you picked GB. Good call for us.

I have my doubts and while this is an important (i.e. clutch) game, I'm confident my Colts can still beat Houston at home. They usually do. It's at Houston's house where we usually stumble. Plus, the Colts are usually fairly good at home in general. We usually go a little while before losing a home game (2-0 at home at the moment), if not until at least the playoffs or the last few games before the playoffs. As for Arizona and Tampa, I was going to pick Tampa. I hope I don't regret that last-second change. Arizona seems to have more credible home wins (New Orleans and Oakland) than Tampa's road wins (Carolina and Cincinnati). Either way, one of them is going to lose for the first time at the respective areas. (Arizona's 2-0 at home, Tampa's 2-0 on the road) Plus, while Arizona seems to have finally slid back to their usual rut (thanks in part to Seattle getting their head out of their ass and St. Louis doing a bit better than the past few years), Tampa doesn't still seems a bit weak. I think it might be another season or two before they're back to how they were a few years back. I picked Green Bay. |

I picked against my Colts, Rams, and Chiefs. I really don't see a problem in it, as long as you hope your pick is wrong, which I always do every time I pick against them. Well, unless it's Rams vs. Colts, then I'd rather the team with the better record/ needs it more to win.
